I agree, I think we should treat you like a little kid because that's what you act like. It doesn't take a lot of effort to not be a dick. User was warned for this post

I mean, we have GSL 5 days a week (well, 4 days now, but it was 7 days at one point), and I'd never miss a GSL if I'm in front of my computer while it's broadcasted, whil sometimes even if the nasl is live, I won't even open the stream. I think it's a mix of not live and all games not that important. 2 weeks old games can also lead to outdated strategies. When I watch GSL I know that I'll see what modern starcraft is about. And I want to know which player is in form now and not a month ago like someone said rightly. Check man, we are most likely the two french watching GSL at 7 am.

They're in different scenarios because they have people in booths and live events every day possible. plus GSL people get knocked out every day in NASL theres always a few matchs where its "who this player has already clinched his finals spot" or "well this player cant get in the playoffs to get a finals spot" and its like "well why am i watching it then?

It's like saying Football wouldn't exist without the few bitchy cancer players that plague the league. Yes it would. I've played sports all my life, and I've been frustrated lots of times. Sometimes games get delayed, sometimes you lose even though you shouldn't. I don't go verbally assault someone or a ref because I'm pissed off though. Some players can't control themselves, but they get carded or penalized or ejected, sometimes banned permanently from the sport and they deserved it. Can't be professional or humble, GTFO of the tournament.

Let's compare some sports In football, if you watch through one particular channel for it, say ESPN, you will often see the same lineup of casters, casting all teams, just like SC2, right? Except, the reason the teams and players stay much much more of the focus even with the casters having so much face time, is because there's simply more exposure to the casters and there is just more of the actual sport going on. There's always a higlight reel going on, or some other game that can be switched to, since each game is hours long. You could honestly compare the amount of face time given to SC2 casters to commentators for other sports like Football (american football is what I am referencing). But those sports have MUCH MUCH more content of the actual competitors right now. This will be remedied more as the sport of SC2 grows, as there are larger events, more events that are respected, and more prestigious events, as well as more players playing at a top level. This is also facilitated by the idea of perhaps SC2 getting onto TV someday for example. For SC2 to be on TV, we would need MUCH actual game content, not less caster content. I absolutely LOVE Artosis, Tasteless, Day9, Husk, and the nice list of other casters ranging from TotalBiscuit to CatzPajamas, but I am also so terribly sad at the searching I must do sometimes to find games from Idra, Incontrol, Sheth, Boxer, MC, etc. The current setup with casters right now is amazing, they're all pretty much doing they're job as great as can be done at this stage in SC2's timeline. What the competitive scene is lacking is flat out MORE GAMES. This can be achieved many ways, all of which feed off each other: More sponsors facilitating events and leagues, more players playing at a top level, more events doing everything they can to make their first place prize MEAN something more than just dollars. Hell, even the social side of players possibly letting their stories be put out there will bridge the gap. Don't blame the casters for perhaps this "drama" that might be arising about the differences between them and their treatment and players. It's not really the fault of either so much as a sad consequence of the sport being very much still in it's infancy.

(they did help with other things ofcourse tho im just saying there is no partnership, nshs is just being friendly). and the thing about 2 racepickers meeting each other. you are talking about a scenario that doesnt exist atm. nobody else but me is doing this, comon now. i talked to many progamers during my sc2 time who wanted to change races, but didnt have the balls or the motivation to give up their skill to start over. its not like theres suddenly gonna appear more race pickers now just because gsl allows this IMO they could just make a simple flip-a-coin rule if 2 race pickers meet each other of who play zvt and who play tvz, i dont see the problem at all lol http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=290143¤tpage=21
