I see tylers point. And I see inc's point. EG guy coming in to say "we invited them and they didn't want to play" is really yea just a statement of facts. But it implies fault lies on the other side. If you don't clear up the whole issue, then people read it as liquid's fault. At the same time, i don't think it's EG guy's place to explain liquids stance on why they didn't join. That should be a liquid guy's place / thing to do. | ||

Everyone can say about another race that it is overpowered, and refer to some fact about that race's mechanics which portrays an advantage over the others. The point is that such statements say very little, without a huge amount of statistical data, evidence and comparative analysis to back up the claims. F.ex. I could talk about SCV auto-repair, roach utility, force field strength, zerg production capacity, siege-tank damage, colossus range, overlord vision, infestors/fungal growth, MULEs, etc., etc., etc. Yet these would be meaningless statements which could really only help ME in venting about whatever issues I had with my latest game. My statements would not have any meaning in the context of discussing the balance of the game, simply because any of my claims could be countered tenfold with claims from the perspective of another race. | ||

The TL forums is THE place for the whole community to come together, if the EG guy couldnt say what he did then TL wouldnt function the way it does. At the same time, it was funny to hear incontrol complain about bullying. :p | ||
