Blizzard once again matched me, a new silver league player, with an experienced platinum league player. It's a fairly long game (about forty minutes) on Metalopolis and, considering who I was relative to my opponent, I think I held up OK. That being said I made plenty of mistakes (poor scouting, 2 cringeworthy episodes of running a sizable force through a row of tanks) but I really, really would appreciate some tips to help my game, and some critiques of what I should have done in this game.

Here's a replay of me (Z) against a bio terran on Kulas.
I'm new to rts (sc2 is my first rts :x) and i've switched from T to Z before release. I'm currently ranked in high platinum and i'm looking for some advices to improve.

I watched some of Freedom's replays and I was shocked because a lot of them feature really bad play.
I mean... in the game (PvP) I just finished he just made a basic 2gate + collo rush after stealing his opponent's gas (not macroing particurly good either). The guy panicks, throws down an hidden expand, put 4 gates down and a robo (WHILE expanding).
He then queue probes to max on his expand and has around 500+ minerals in average. He dies to the very first push, killing maybe one stalker. I dare say this guy would be platinium oO
Some of the games are good, other are... surprising.

It's me (platinum) against my brother (diamond). He always MMM's so I got a bunch of high templars and well... let's just say theres a lot of marine blood throughout the match LOL

Hey guys, does anyone have a replay that is 6 hours plus long and filled with TONS of maxed out unit fights. Doesn't matter if it is pro, I just want to put it on, go to sleep, wake up and see if my gpu can handle it with fans at 100%.

Not competitive but a fun 4v4 that didn't end once the muta were out and massacring SCVs.
ZTPP vs TTZZ on Megaton
+ Show Spoiler +Almost every unit from every race was built. Tons of action, expansion sniping, barely scraping together an army to hold. Lots of seige tanks, ultralisks, mutalisks., thors. I started with fast muta and transitioned into 3/3 ultraling and eventually won.

This is my second placement match (I'm zerg), ya its all very nooby and whatever, but it ended in a pretty funny base trade.

This Freedom is not the former famous WC3 player, who used Zerg in SC2 Beta. You may watch others' good games
