Like R1CH said, InfraView a good program. Setting up your Image Overlay to block the replay timer or plug your sponsor We will be using a program called InFanView for this. Once downloaded, open the program and open your favorite image file. Follow these simple steps to get rid of any distractions, make the window resizeable, and always on top. 1) Options menu, select "Always on top" (last option) simple enough. 2) View menu, Display Options, Choose "Fit image to window" and make sure the bottom 3 are checked for quality (they are by default) 3) View menu, Show/Hide the first 4 options for Status bar, Toolbar, Menu bar, and Caption. Alternatively, hold Alt+Shift+S,T,M,C respectively. Done! Now you have an image that will stay on top of your starcraft display (assuming you're in Windowed or Windowed (Fullscreen) modes) and not look ugly. Have fun ![]()

I don't know why one would want to remove a replay bar (unless you mean after you have casted the game, and in the video file you are uploading). But as far as I know, you cannot really (re)move it (maybe in time, someone will figure something out which unlocks the windows, or blizz will add in a "hide replay bar" feature). Disclaimer: I am not too adept with complicated coding, so there might be something in the replay file that could be changed manually, but I personally don't know.

On the contrary, though, the non-streamed recordings have the maximum time of the video shown, thus defeating the purpose. But for streamed games, the viewers are none the wiser.

In addition to IRfanview though, if you use something like virtualdub to merge FRAPS recordings, there is an overlay option.

I assume you're using VDub for compressing from the comment above. I tried messing around with Irfanview for a little while but I could never get it to capture in fraps or figure out how to get it to overlay in VDub. But, if you just want a simple, very nice looking replay bar blocker, I've got it for you. In VDub, go to the Video menu and select Filters. You need to have full processing mode activated in order to go into the Filters section. (Also in the video menu, and should be on anyway for compressing.) Once in Filters, hit add, select the Fill filter, and hit OK. When the Fill options window pops up, enter these values: X1 offset: 1043 Y1 offset: 405 X2 offset: 21 Y2 offset: 260 Then select whatever color you want. Black blends in almost perfectly. It looks really clean. I havent figured out how to see it in any kind of preview mode, but it is definitely there in the final compressed product. I capture in Fullscreen mode, so you may need to fiddle with these values a bit if you're in windowed or windowed (fullscreen) mode. But all this does is create a rectange with a color fill. Not fancy by any means, but it looks good.

Fraps will not record your replay bar, but you need a media editor to put together the pieces of the file anyways. The media editor is just preference, I believe a lot of people use VirtualDub; for a guide on how to do it just search like "VirtualDub Watermark" on google.
