Hello my friends!
I was surfing the web and i saw this on IGN.com. I answered some questions, and it chose terran for me - which is the race i like BTW, so i guess this works.
Edit : this is intended especially for people who intend to buy sc2, didn't get a beta key, and still have doubts about which race better suits their personality and play style.

Well, yes, it picked Protoss for me. But for most of those questions I just picked a random answer, since none of the alternatives felt applicable for me..

I play zerg and it picked protoss for me but I've been thinking about switching races with how the latest patch has worked the zerg over.

Zeratul came to me in a dream... So he picked me, I didn't picked the race.

It picked Protoss. I played P in bw, Z in sc2.

It picked Protoss for me but I play Zerg.

The questions were too specific and most of them I couldn't really answer properly. But I answered as best I could and it gave me Protoss, my favourite race.

Well, I had to randomly select answers because none of the options were even close to what I would answer. So not unexpectedly it chose the wrong race for me.

The quiz was so obvious and see through, however i chose to play along and answer truthfully, and it chose me as Terran.
Terran is my main and Protoss is my "im bored of Terran for the next half hour" race. So i guess it was spot on

This quiz is pretty stupid and I can't imagine that you could possibly give a better than random race choice advice from the answers to those questions. Also, it recommended Protoss for me, which is my least favourite race in sc2.

Well, it game me Protoss, and I do play Toss, but what a horrible horrible quiz. Most of the questions I would have put 'other' if it were there.

It didnt get it right for me, said I was terran even though I play zerg. However I wouldnt even be impressed if it did say zerg because its a 1/3 chance. I thought the options/questions that were in the survey were more for jokes than an actual personality quiz to determine your race. Although I dont think there ever will be an accurate personality quiz unless the questions were based on previous gaming experiences.

It got it right for me, but I think it was a fluke. I didn't like many of the choices.

I got Protoss. While I do like playing Protoss, if I had to choose, it would probably be the least likely of the three that I would play.

i played protoss for 5 years in bw and kinda fancied a change in sc2, and i haven't really played sc2 yet (only just got a computer that can handle it) and i hadn't chosen yet

Well that was an utter failure.
This explains why you've never bothered to dry out that soggy bathroom mat. It turns out you're a member of the Zerg. You find comfort in numbers, slime, and tossing free will out the window.
besides the fact that I can only play Toss or Terran well, the personality part is the exact opposite of myself.

Very poor quiz. In these kind of limited quiz you need to have answers that most of your users will fall under. In most of the answers I had to choose the one that was the least worst and ended with the exact worse race... Protoss. I play zerg and offrace terran, I can't manage protoss for the life of me. I can't imagine that the majority of the people answering this quiz will find answers reflecting on their personality.
edit: Dammit didn't notice the necro... I feel stupid for helping it staying at the top >_>

Also, all of the songs in the music question sounded close to the same to me....

Terrible quiz. As others have already stated, some of the questions were way too specific/ not varied enough. For example, recommending starship troopers. Starship troopers is a terrible movie and no way in hell would I recommend it to anybody should have been choice D, and I'm sure would be the overwhelming majority of all responses. 2ndly, I didn't know any of the music choices, and was therefore left to choose randomly. And thirdly, although I do sometimes drink beers, 2 out of 3 of the answers were beer related, and I was forced to answer number 3 if i didn't want anything beer related. In the end, it gave me terran, which is probably my worst race. I cannot vouch to the overall accuracy of the quiz since I was unable to answer some questions since they were pretty damn awful.
