Oddly enough, gamers usually have enough money to throw away $60 on a game that should cost $0. Most new games aren't worth their price, and if you really did want to play a game that badly, there's always ...uh...less than legal ways to get it.

The mouse and keyboard looks like crap tbh, the headset seems cool though

If you haven't been following the news, they have yet to crack multiplayer for niether competitive nor illegitimate purposes. Unless you care to crack it yourself, have at it. The only hope we have is if that lan edition gets leaked.
3 games in my life I paid money for: HL1 orange box (+cs/tfc) HL2/CSS/DODS Starcraft 2.
Shared a key for SCBW when blizz still allowed it on bnet and iccup after they restricted 1 simultaneous login per key.

You guys suck. $60 (or $10-$15 for BW) is really not a lot to support these multimillion-dollar productions you obviously spend so much time on.
What, do you live in a box?

ps razer, thanks for the salmosa. i mean, i know you cancelled it and replaced it with a total piece of shit, but it is the only gaming mouse geared towards rts players that is actually good for rts
I heard about this - what a joke! What the fuck is with Razer? They killed the Exactmat (aluminium base, very nice mat) they killed the Salmosa - it's ridiculous - both exceptional products.
Changing things for the sake of it is stupid.

I think that mouse is really ugly. The headset and keyboard look nice but I'm pretty suure there are better alternatives.

i have no idea why someone would waste there money on razers products. its way overkill...
of course if ppl are retarded enought to give someone like orb 150$ donations out of the blue then i guess u can spend it on something like this. of course its alot smarter to buy something with ur 150$ rather then donating it to a random person that plays his guitar on a stream and rages at everything.

I've had my mouse logitech mx518 mouse for years, it's starting to get worn down and it feels huge. Any suggestions on new mouse?

The Headset looks really comfy and the keyboard looks cool aswell but a square mouse really won't work. If it was cheap i'd purchase it, but i wouldn't pay up just cause it looks good :/

Rofl @ "Game Alerts" on the website. Just in case you were staring at your mouse and not the game. Perhaps this is the first step towards playing sc2 without a screen at all.

Yea I hope you're directing your comment towards the guy I quoted in that post. Also, only paying for games that are actually worth the money such as the titles I mentioned and possibly a few others will push the industry to bother releasing quality games *cough* unlike EA *cough* and promote better business models from game production companies. Every year tons of games are released and even if they're crap, people actually bother paying for them. If everyone pirated everything but the ones worth paying for and playing on multiplayer, we would have more quality titles like the games I actually paid for since the bullshit releases will simply get put out of business.

I want these toys, I want them badly. Not because they make you a better player. Simply because they give me more ways bling bling my gaming rig.

This is the most backwards statement you could make about DPI and its use in games. In FPS you generally want as low DPI as possible while still being able to move around properly. RTS is the one competitive genre where a reasonably "high" DPI is actually very useful (so you can tweak it to have very exact and precise mouse control). Yes I want a different DPI for FPS and RTS games because my mousing techniques are completely different. Also, when I play The Sims I want my DPI to be a negative number since that would help me to accomplish my goals best.
Were you saying that FPS games don't require precise control? Or maybe you're referring to the sensitivity shift between the various DPI settings. I think that you just haven't discovered the secret, well-hidden option of tweaking your mouse speed in a game.

To clarify the silliness of the quoted statement:
The proportion of hand movement and mouse movement is committed to muscle memory. You judge the mousing distance you need to clear on the screen and move your hand accordingly. A higher DPS (better optic resolution) allows for more stability in that proportion since it can image a significantly more uniform mousing surface, free of irregularities. A surface irregularity would cause you to move your mouse the correct amount of space, as dictated by mouse memory, but fall short of the target on the screen.

(Edit: just realized that it's not out yet) I was going to get a new keyboard and am getting a boatload of money in a few days so I was considering grabbing the keyboard it just to up my nerd cred. Mouse looks lame though, and there are much better headsets for that price. I'm not going to lie the keyboard looks pretty cool though. Have Astro a40s from my console days and a g500 because the g500 kicks ass, so if I could get a cool-equipment trifecta I'd be pretty happy.

i want it, except for the headset. i dont really see the point of needing a headset except for LAN(joke lol) tournaments. or playing @ a pc cafe type thing.
ofcourse i will wait for the reviews but it looks dope

The headphones and mouse just look way too big. The Keyboard does look cool. But everything is way way way too expensive. Also playing in the dark and having lights go off when I am trying to focus would be annoying.
$20 DT-35 > $130 SC2 Razer keyboard $20 Logitech Mini-Optical > $80 SC2 Razer mouse
There is a reason most Korean progamers use this mouse and keyboard combo over anything else. ^^
