You can name it in the format of Player A v Player B, yes. You can use many other info from the replay like map name, races, match-up, game format etc.

Are you thinking of adding this feature in any future releases? Because as of now it's hard to get accurate stats as a random player. Anyways, keep up the good work!

![]() Here's a few ideas I got while using it that you might be interested in: -the new trend charts are great and would be awesome if they could display the win ratio. For instance, coloring a portion of each bar according to the win ratio for that period might be nice. -add a "general win ratio" on each map. I've been messing around with all races and it's strange having like 0-1 with T and 30-15 with Z on a given map and only seeing 0% and 66%. -include Overlords in Zerg BO analyser. -rework the Y autoscaling on the charts: setting the scale limits equal to the min & max values sometimes makes the plot go off chart when using cubic approximation. Hope that was helpful!

Hope that was helpful! The trend chart shows for example how many games played on the same days for example, how many games you played on all Mondays, on all Tuesdays etc. So the trend charts take replays from all your gaming history, I don't see the benefit of seeing the win rate here. There is a Win ratio development chart which shows your win ratio development through your whole career. Isn't that enough? Adding summarized win ratio to each maps is a good idea, will do that. The Builds/Tech chart can display not just buildings, but all units too (including or excluding workers) and researches and upgrades. You can also filter the displayed actions with any text. So you can choose any combination of what you want to see on this chart. For example if you want to see only buildings and Overlords but no other units, you can use this filter phrase: "build or train overlord". This mode requires to enable the "Use listed actions as chart input data", which is a check box below the action list. You might say that this is more complicated than 2 clicks, that's right, but this is much more flexible, flexible enough to do everything with it. The cubic approximation is useful if you have relatively many chart points. In this case no need to rescale the chart. I know if there are only a few chart points there might be parts of the curve going outside of the rage. But I wouldn't change the scale, because this way when you change between the approximations you see right away how the curve changes (because the scale is the same).

Random race functionality really needs to be improved though for both replay saving (random terran should be either R(T), T(R), or just T, but not just R like it is now), and matchup statistics (option to treat randoms as of they just chose the race). I don't know what others are saying, but I'd say that should be #1 priority for features. Another feature I think would be good is adding "first x letters" instead of first words. For instance, if you just chose the first word, you could get unclear names (such as "Lost"), but could still get names that are too long for the user's preference, such as "metalopolis". Possibly implementing First X letters of every word would also be really nice. Those aren't really high priority feature suggestions though.

![]() Using /C4 nicely adds the counter to the replays when renaming multiple replays, but in auto-renamed replays its always 0001. Is that intended? This way I still have to manually rename the replays :/ Still using /f-/C4-/M2-/T-/Q./e

I could be mistaken though ![]()

For the auto-save feature it is recommended to use the /Fx symbol if you want a counter in the name. /Fx : replay counter with fixed digits, its value is always the number of replays in the target folder +1

There is a problem with this. The chosen race is stored: either Random, Terran, Protoss or Zerg. In case of chosen Random, the race that random turns out to be is stored only as a localized string (at least that's what I've found, there might be stored the race ID too). This localized string is not always Terran, Protoss and Zerg, but rather the race name in the language of the client. For example the first letters in case of a Korean client are not even TPZ. I plan to add this feature, which will work for all replays saved by clients where the first letters are TPZ. But you will see Korean signs in case of a Korean client for example.

But I wouldn't change the scale, because this way when you change between the approximations you see right away how the curve changes (because the scale is the same). The main idea behind the win ration in the trend chart was to see for instance if my ratio is significantly higher at 6PM or 4AM... or maybe I'm better on Mondays or Thursdays? ^^ The Overlords in the BOs was for the Build Orders tab in a player's multirep analysis, the one that counts how many times you did each BO. I'm assuming it takes the 6 first buildings you constructed to define the BO, but with Z the sixth building is sometimes the spire and it's a bit odd for it to be part of the BO ^^ And about the charts you're definitely right about having the same scale between cubic and linear, but how about changing autoscaling for both? I mean it's no big deal, but I hate offchart curves ^^ Anyhow, thanks for answering! a good programmer always listens to the users ![]()

Also what's the difference between player names and full player names?

I'd use /p1 vs /p2 but that obviously doesn't work for team games. Also what's the difference between player names and full player names? No symbol for a more sophisticated player list, but the current list available through the /Q symbol returns the player list in team order. So for example in a 2v2 match if team one is player1 and player2, team 2 is player3 and player 4, then the name list for /Q will be: player1, player2, player3, player4 Currently the player name and the player full name is the same. It was different during the beta phase replays where there was an ID string. I might append the ID or some extra info in the future for the full player name version.

Edit: another suggestion, add the auto-save option to the tray menu for easier access.
