I just re-downloaded the software and it's adding the patch right now. I'll let you know if it works once it finishes

Wow, they updated the interface. The UI finally stretches to 16 by 9. The interface music sounds better too, it has more guitar twang lol.

Idk kol, there are a few other threads about that issue.

I checked tl when I first woke up today, so I just didn't start it yet.

I've heard that you should close the launcher out of the loop, and that they are working on a fix. Other than that, the bnet servers are still down anyway. (i think)

Infestor is the only unit that "beats" Thor. It was really silly it had range smaller than actually Thor.
Not mention annoying long cast itself. (which is unchanged)

One Tankbuff i can imagine.

300HP/2 Armor(=twice the HP/+1Armor) for Tank but Double Dmg on Sieged Tanks.
No Lift off by the Phonix if Sieged. And a little bit lowered Firing Rate for unsieged Tanks because of the increased HP.

"If all else fails and you have a StarCraft II Beta\Versions\Base15097 folder, you do have the patch that we released today. You can use the StarCraft II Beta\Support\SC2Switcher.exe to start the game but Battle.net is currently down for the ladder reset."

rofl you serious? as i mentioned i (and i think every other p that plays platinum) build immortals just to counter mass marauders/roaches. immortals arent as effective as other P units in killing other units. they are just the only viable unit against roaches and against early marauder(ghost) pushes unless you went for a 4 warpgate build.

Meh, lost temple wasn't great, but Metalopolis was probably the best map in the whole bunch (kulas revine close 2nd)..

Which is it? Has it been increased from 1.6 to 1.85 or has it been "decreased" as they say? Does it hit faster or slower? Augh!

also the number is the cooldown (cd). it has to wait this period before it can attack again. i dont know why blizzard is against writing cool down since they basically invented that word xd

Probably because they've done enough testing on them and they're happy. Now they want you to suffer some more Twilight Fortress and a bunch of other crazy maps!

I havn't read the answers to this post but I'll give my own little opinion. And since i'm a Terran player that aspect is what i'll be focusing on.

The CS boost, dunno really if it was necessary I felt it havn't affected my much.

This immortal build time increase is ofc. a huge nerf but I havn't had the problem that people have had with immortals. I think i can fend them of pretty good with my 2/3 rax early ghost build. (PM me if you'd like some reps from Patch 8).

Other then that it will be interesting to see the change at scrap station since I thought it was a terrible map for terran with such a hard defended expansion. Aswell when attacking it will be easier for terran with a one was attack route.

They are called spine ticklers for a reason. So i hope they have decreased the attack cooldown, if they haven't then Zerg won't be making many of them in the future.
