In this replay iam the losing Protoss (Delilah) vs Terran (Peanuts) who makes mech on lost tempel. I have not encounter so many mech players, so i find it abit confusing and not sure what to do against it in mid game. This is Gold Leauge EU were iam ranked 20-30 in my division. Hi Orb, just played a game against a terran that did, at least compared to the majority of terran I play against on the EU serv, an usual build TvP. He did a 2rax reactor-lab for ghosts and fast starport reactor for medivac. I killed his first offensive by having just lots of shits and spreading them to not get my 4 immortals EMPED. At that point I just contain him and expand waiting to outmacro him. I get a little too confident and my macro slip, I didn't spread my shits anymore and all but I did contained him before he got a critical amount of Medivacs to backup his marines. I got some colossus a bit late but his marines/ghosts ball was out of control with so many medivac, and I would really like to know where I could have done better. Resaturation of my main and expand should have been earlier and I shouldn't get so confident when I confine someone in their main but could I have get the upper hand without switching to HT to feedback medivac and storm the marines? Edit: this is at platinium ~1450rating. | ||

I guess the number of viewers are to some extent derived from the fact that you are very vocal in the community. My question to everyone is: Who else streams at a daily basis high quality games (preferably with a bit of chat as well)? | ||

I find that your review of replays is a nice complement to the day[9] content. You both bring a different style to how you review things and I find it great for newer players like myself. It also helps me when I look at my own replays. | ||

Hey Orb, Love your stream, have learnt alot from it. Just wondering if you could look over this game i played PvT. i thought i was playing quite well, although ended up losing to his mass banshee/viking build. just wondering if you could look over it and give me a few tips to improve. Thanks. PS: im ~9-10 copper league EDIT: just realised i didn't GG at the end of it :O im ashamed lol :/ | ||

PvP: Ok, so I think I had some pretty great micro, which is the main reason I won. I also had a much better macro. Even so, I really think it could be improved. Had he pushed earlier, I probably would have lost. It's amazing how far behind I fell due to those early probes not mining. Other than that, I normally have problems probing after a certain point, but I think I did much better here, though I would certainly appreciate some feedback. Some building position tips would definitely be helpful! I don't normally start with a wall in PvP, but my opponent picked random, so I was preparing for a potential Zerg opponent. Some key points of my typical play (my normal build order): 9 pylon 12/13 gateway then scout (After my placements, I check proxy positions like crazy...) 14/15 gas (I get one gas as soon as I have the minerals after my gateway starts) Cybernetics and a second/third gateway asap From there I get Stalkers and Sentries and add a Robo bay (which I forgot about in this game while under pressure...). I throw in some Zealots during the Cybernetics warp-in if I see a two gate rush. If you pick my replay, let me know ahead of time through a PM. I'm technically in Bronze league, but I'd say I'm easily Silver, and more likely Gold level (I had some unfortunate accidents in my placements...such as picking the wrong race). Hey Orb, I'm in the bronze league atm and I'm starting to feel very comfortable with my Zerg play. However, I continue to lose against something not expected and having trouble not adapting to my opponents tech switches. I would greatly appreciate it if you were to take a look at my replay and point out a few things you think would help improve my play, that I may not have realized. Thanks! MagicToast | ||

TvT is what I need help with because against everything else I'm solid, just can't beat my own race ironically. I'm silver league 7-0 TvP 8-2 TvZ 2-6 TvT (including practice matches) and i'm moving up quickly in silver league. I just need to be better TvT. Thanks. | ||

PvT, what I thought I did wrong was that I over did it with the collosus so I ended up not having enough money for stalkers to counter vikings =/. My macro also went down hill after my high yield got destroyed. When I was attacking him, I was deciding whether I should have put down another expo, but my resources were so limited that I decided to get more units to reinforce my attack. Should I have place down an expo instead of continuing my attack during that last battle in front of the Terran's main? Thanks =D | ||

Will probably upload a replay or two in the near future, but I just moved into Bronze (haven't played SC in years, and jumped into playing without even knowing what the units did, lol) and I'm really not much good, for reasons I already know. I'm just terrible when it comes to macro, even though I know that's more important than Micro probably 80% of the time. | ||
