This is a PvP game. Myself (Alou) vs Syzygy. (21:18 duration) File should be titled [PvP LOSS (EPIC THOUGH)] despite not being that epic haha >.<
Anyways, my questions on this replay are mainly, what to do when your opponent throws something at you which you didn't expect. What should my mindset be. I was going to try some void rays and phoenixes because at that point all the Protoss players I went against were throwing mass zealots at me with a few stalkers. I thought I was relatively prepared.
This opponent, however, went mass stalkers with a blink upgrade, something at this point, I never went up against. So my question really is, how do you react when the unexpected comes your way? There are definitely loads of mistakes on my part and Syzygy's part. He had some really bad macro mid-way through, and I definitely made many mistakes in that game with not using my resources wisely. I'm a copper player slowly improving every day and I would love to hear your feedback on what went wrong. Definitely a lot of mistakes in there that can be commented on. PvT on Desert Oasis
Game is 23 minutes or something like that. I opened up 1 gate into robo tech playing a lot of drop ship play harass with immortals. Did some good damaged. Towards the end I pushed but lost the battle. Was it because of unit composition? Placement? Please help a fellow Protoss!

People like watching streams of decent players, but they don't want to hear crazy ranting and total bm constantly along with it. Its a fair criticism.

Hey man, it's me MiniTsunami from chat.
I played this game earlier today, and I thought it was somewhat interesting. I was a bit rusty after not having played for a few days, and i made a few really horrible attacks, but I wanted to see what you thought I could improve on this game.
I feel like my early game was OK in a macro sense although i made a few mistakes, but i don't know what happened but I just feel like I fell apart in the mid/late game.
I'm the Z, Battousai btw.

Frost(me) Vs. Snuggles
Interesting game on desert oasis. A lot of ZvZ is trying to rush to muta what with the roach nerf, but i'm not a huge fan of them being used as full on combat units, so i tried to see how roach hydra would do with spore crawlers to allow me to have some mobility.
My opponent stuck with muta/ling, and at first my hydras were melting, but based on this replay it seems like there reaches a critical mass where the mutas just fall so fast that the splash is irrelevant, and hydras seem to one-shot zerglings. Granted I feel like I had a stronger opening than him in that I got an expo up faster while transitioning a lot more smoothly. It would be interesting to note the drone count at points during the game, because while he was teching to mutas i was able to pump drones for a LONG time. Anyway, enjoy, i hope this gets reviewed

hey orb just wanted to say thanks for choosing my replay yesterday on your first daily, I missed it unfortunately but someone posted a link to the vod and I just watched it! It helped me out a lot and gave me a ton of ways to improve, best of luck with your daily!

Missed today's show cause I had an exam, but just finished watching. Someone already pointed out to you about those green/purple lines but I have another suggestion you might want to consider in the future. You may or may not want to invest in a pop filter for your mic. It's a common problem, when you have the "p" sound and the "th" sound, you get this loud bang and its kinda like a mini explosion.
It's more of a convenience thing, but it would help a bit. Once again, great cast today and I look forward to tomorrows.

Orb, I think you're great and like the show quite a lot. It's nice to see that all of the haters who were stupidly and childishly flaming this thread before you had even done your first show have now shut up, probably because your shows have proven their snap judgments to be totally wrong. Or they got their jollies in and are now flaming someone else. Either way, I don't think anyone can deny that you've got a show that really benefits the community and you're pretty awesome to do it.
Maybe this non-raging Orb could make it to the stream a little more often?
