To be honest maybe I need some kind of system for this but yeah yesterday I basically just went down the list from the start of the thread, but not all replays are "optimal" so to speak so it's not as bad as it sounds.
Also please note in the OP that today's cast will be at 8 PM due to my conflict with playing in the gosucoaching tournament

Speaking of which Orb, any way you could post some announcement as to who's replay you are going to be casting that night?

REPLAY:http://www.mediafire.com/?nnlwouihmbf

seriously good, absolutely loved it. Learnt quite a bit thats seems simple, I find it really hard to keep scouting with my probe whilst continuing with my early build structure - i think I just need to keep repeating it and I will get better - I hotkey my nexus and my probe so I can double tap the number and move backwards and forwards but still find it hard and I nearly always lose the probe.
The bit where you talked about the movement of your army and forcefielding the ramp again sounds simple but unless you actually think about it and know it you wouldnt necessarily come up with it in the heat of the battle, now when I am going to wards a choke to kill an exp I will be ready to lay that ff if the army is up the ramp especially v zerg.
I also find it difficult keeping track of my hotkeys again guess it comes with practice, what do u normally set ur nexus as and then ur gateways etc... and lets say mid game how many hotkeys are you using.
sorry for all the q's, anyways thanks for the stream found it useful, I will let you know how I get on.

Well, big props for trying to help not-so-good players, and generally for doing something for community but I really can't see myself following your show happily as much as I follow Day9's show.
To elaborate: you are good player, indeed and you are deserving your rank in platinum for sure but I really can't believe there are people who would watch your show at this point. Well, maybe I am a bit "old" but while watching your stream lately I usually turn sound off and tune in some music. It's really painful listening you whine and rage about every single, and I mean EVERY single thing which makes you lose. It's beta, sure, there are imbalances, but still... your whine about everything and general impression that you would never lose a single game if there wasn't imbalance and that there's no player more perfect then you is really repulsive. And what I find biggest problem is that you started living your initial behavior, while it's O.K. to rage here and there I have feeling you started raging and whining about game by intend as you found out that brings viewers to your channel. It goes that far that you yesterday whined about Terran race while losing against Zerg player. Also whined about losing from cheese/allin while ur opponent did totally legit build, then you didn't even stop on that, you had to whisper him after game with insults. And so on, and so on,... not to mention that every 20 min you are yelling at your viewers with things like "YOU ARE RETARDS". I mean... wtf...
It's strange, there are few as good as you are Protoss' streams but people are following your channel mostly because your behavior, not because of your skill even if you are insulting them on daily basis. If I were top player like you are that fact would bother me a lot.
I just hope one day soon enough you will understand that's not the way to go and that we, viewers, will be in situation to hear something smart and helpful while watching your, mostly, great games. Then, I will be more then happy to follow your Show - every day.

whiterabbit hmm, I see that you very quick to offer advice on how things should be done and how somebody should behave. I'm sure your whiter than white and have a fantastic stream with a mouse made of flowers and a computer of sweets.
How do you know why everyone tunes into his stream?
I watch it not because he rants but because generally his gameplay is good to watch. His show is far from insulting and provided help to some of the lesser players like me, he's not being paid to do that the show lasted like an hour....... don't get on someones back because U don't like the way behave heres an idea just dont tune in to the show or the livestream....

whiterabbit that is such a condescending post its ridiculous re-read it

Can you honestly tell me that you are enjoying his ranting while watching him play? Honestly enjoying it most of the times? I hardly believe.
I said, I think at least twice, that he is great/top and deserved player but lets be honest, great portion of his viewers are there because of his behavior - and that makes me kinda, dunno, sad.
All I wish is that good player like Orb does behave on the top of his in-game skills and that I can actually HEAR something useful from him other then "Terrans are imba. Blizzard failed. Map sucks." & "ARE YOU F***** RETARDED?". That's all.
And idea of my post is about how someone who never or rarely say anything smart on his stream in ways of tactics/help to improve/game tips can be watched in the Day9's manner.

Agreed, we all have our moments where we are mad about something and sure, maybe he does it too much for most people, but those people don't have to watch.

i enjoy the stream yeah honestly I do, his ranting doesnt bother me it's just his frustration and will to win at the end of the day I learn from watching him and he is good enough to put the stream on furthermore he is willing to spend an hour helping people out - if he feels the need to rant then fine like u said turn the sound off if you dont like it and rather than learn from what he says learn from what he does.
you saying he is a great/top player doesnt really mean anything though does it, ever heard the saying give a finger but take a hand.

Look I love Day9 don't get me wrong, but I really don't think there is a problem with people being different than him. Everyone has their own personality and own way of doing things. And I don't know how much you actually watch orb's stream but many times he does talk about what he's thinking and why he's doing stuff (which is really helpful btw orb). And I have said this before but I just don't believe that people ONLY watch his stream because he gets mad, if thats the case watch a movie or youtube or something. Clearly there is an interest in starcraft and orbs play as well

Antaeus, thanks for partially agreeing on my post(s).
And I hope more people understood my real intention behind of post(s) which maybe on first sight look like "hate posts".
Thing is, I am really really really enjoying watching Orb play. And my "hate" towards him is there just because I wish he was better person who would share, vocally, his thoughts about game other then pure rage, whine, hate & viewer's insults. Then enjoyment watching his stream would be absolutely great, and I am sad he's not that kind of a guy.

Well Orb himself made parallel with Day9.
And I didn't say ONLY and everyone (for instance, I am there because of his gaming not because of his rage), but I said and I still believe most people are watching him because of his behavior. And judging the comments on the Livestream's chat I am right, at least to the some point.

@Horace, meant to quote whiterabbit in that first post, my apologies

hey orb. first off, i really enjoy watching your stream and i want to thank you for sharing the joy that is starcraft with the world. i'm a terran player and i have been since way back in 98 or something - DIE ZERG AND SPACEELVES!
this is me as T vs suna as P
im probably around silver/low gold level atm, bnet keeps deleting my ladderstats though so i cant tell you exactly. i think i have a pretty decent grasp of how to open as terran, usually i go supply on 10, rax on 12, gas on 13, orbital command on 15 and then on to a reaper or marauders. in this particular replay though for some reason i decided to open with two barracks very early, i think in part because i wanted to wall off my entrance and i panicked. i know something is off and i know my micro is far from perfect (i click most stuff, lol), but i'd really like your opinion in where exactly i need to focus the most on my game to improve. as the way i lose is generally how i tend to lose even with my standard opening, being horribly outnumbered.
loss vs suna.SC2Replay

i think he was agreeing with my post, and also that you dont really have to watch (maybe he does it too much for someone is a loose parity with your post)
I see what your saying; although he is a great player and you benefit from watching him play, if only you could mould his personality into something that you personally would appreciate, then for you his stream would be perfect.
You wish he was a better person....!!! i'll say no more on this, i'm going to bed.

Anyway, yeah and that's why posts I made are my and only mine personal view I felt sharing.
Tho, I am sure there are people who feel and think like I do about this matter.
P.S. Good night, sweet dreams!

"Agreed, we all have our moments where we are mad about something and sure, maybe he does it too much for most people, but those people don't have to watch."
how on earth could you possibly know the above post was in reference to your post as he/she quoted mine above it... (unless ur somehow both the same person). Not to mention the fact that what is written corresponds directly with mine - i,e maybe he does it too much and those people dont have to watch.
anyways thats by the by.
goodnight.

yes he does "rage" and "whine" in his stream but he did a good job of not doing these things during his show
and for the most part when he does complain about inbalances they are legit inbanances in the game

At first I thought he quoted your post and wrote that to show I am not only one feeling that way that's why I thanked him. And honestly we are not same person, can't imagine myself doing that what you are implying. I don't even know the guy. I guess mods can check IPs to clarify that.
Anyway, good night.

First off, really like the show!
And secondly, I love djWHEAT's suggestion of being in contact with the player at hand via Skype or something similar. Not only would it be really helpful for the player and all of us, but it would also help your show stand appart from the rest because as it is now, it sort of blends in with what Day9 is already doing. Which isn't necessarily bad per se but it would just be a lot more interesting that way. IMO.
