(and to the guy above, I don't think the mac client will run better, it will just be the windows client with cider, like so many other games these days have been doing, so your still better off getting windows on a seperate partition instead of running the mac client) Oh and if it matters, I run sc2 on the last version of the macbook pro, but the cheaper one with the 9400 , it runs fine on low (60+ fps), but everything above that is almost impossible, except if you like to play on 30 fps, but I don't, so I keep it on low)

Install Bootcamp, that is your only realistic solution at the moment. Or wait until the content patch in April with Mac support. My Macbook Pro 2.6 GHz Core 2 Duo 8600 GT 256MB handles the game just fine on low/Medium settings with High texture, 24" full resolution 1920x1200 monitor and terrain details on high

Just wondering though, can anyone tell me if my ATI RadeonX1600 128mb graphics card will even let me play SC2 under windows XP using bootcamp? You'll probably be able to play if you turn the details way down and run at a modest resolution. My iMac 2.66Ghz w/ Radeon 2600HD handles the game nicely at 1680x1050, but I have to keep settings at medium-low (especially shaders, they are at the lowest) to avoid drops in big battles. I'm picky about FPS and I never want to see it drop below 40 in a large fight. And, as others have said, use Bootcamp! And don't use the crappy Apple supplied video card drivers. Once you get Boot Camp installed, look up "Mobility Modder". It will let you use the most current drivers.
