However, these 700 seats will be given to the player's fan clubs only. As of now, you can only apply for seats through the two players fan clubs. *Note: It is almost certain MBCGame booked their finals venue FAR before they had any hints at what the final card could be. MBCGame is being silly here, but they're certainly not stupid enough to intentionally hold Jaedong vs Flash at a 1k venue.

I have been a faithful watcher since the beginning of your Day[9] dailies. I miss several due to commitments to school [cccooommpp ssssscciiii fiighhttiinnggg], but I do watch the ones I miss on OnDemand. I prefix my post with the above, so you don't nerd-rage on me too hard ![]() PLEASE cast the MSL finals. As much of an astronomical screw-up, I have to agree with KwarK. The mistake was by a tech guy, and/or a group of tech guys who accidentally plugged the heater into the same circuit, causing the eventual overload. If you put yourself in Kespa's shoes, there is no perfect decision. If you make a re-game, Flash will have caught on to Jaedong's ballsy [and probably heavily prepared] 3 hatchery before spawning pool. It is already an incredibly difficult ZvT map, he had a very advantageous position and was about to WIN a game off Flash and go 2-1. To re-game means that now he has to deal with the mental pressures of having his build completely discovered against Flash, and he will feel cheated out of what had good odds of being a win for him. Jaedong forced Flash to be the aggressor or give up the economic edge. Flash chose #1, and Jaedong had some great management in order to keep the swarms down as his 4 [5 for a bit I believe] gas pulled ahead of Flash's depleting economy - putting himself in a very favourable position. He fought incredibly well and showed great management, and was JUST holding 7, and frankly, the game winning expo. As Flash begins to retreat to hold 9, the screen blackens. Fan favourites aside, if you consider the map, and the situation, in my opinion there is about an 85% chance that Jaedong had that game. There is little room to error when the vessel count was too low to irradiate the defilers and all he had to do was defend to out-econ Flash, who was nearly all in with his aggressive two-base play and mined out main. EDIT: Do not hold my analysis to heart. I am only a faithful SC fan, not an A/A+ player. After reviewing the VOD carefully, that was the conclusion that I had drawn. It sucks? Yes. Should MBC be at least partially to blame? Of course, they should have been more diligent in testing, but don't let the mistake of an individual or two lose our community the ability to look at three high level TvZs, two of which being very one-sided and wonderful to analyse because of that. If you still decide to not cast the games, I will whole-heartingly respect your decision. I only ask on behalf of the community that you reconsider the value of those lost games, regardless of the politics that might be behind them.

That Odd Eye was played on game 2. FUUUUUUUU. I don't have anything to add other than that game was one of the best games I've ever seen. And I would love love love to hear Day[9]s analysis of Jaedong's ultra greedy crazy zerg BO. I wouldn't even care if he refused to declare a winner at the end. I just want his insight on that spectacular game.

The question shouldn't be if flash was winning or if jaedong was winning. The question should be how a major corporation that's run starleagues for years could screw something up so badly. For christ's sake if you're going to have a fancy "virtual studio," make sure it functions fucking properly. I feel awful for Jaedong I was just about to pop in and suggest you do this (Rather, to withdraw my original suggestion to cover the finals), but I see you're ahead of me. Day[9] knows what's up -- he doesn't need our suggestions to run a great show. :D

The first three games were great, and I really really would like to hear your analysis on them. Also on game three and what kind of advantage you think JD had.

you said that normaly the 3rd bounce does 1 dmg but when you upgrade carapace it does fractional dmg (<1) that sc actualy records. my questions is this: if any time you hit a zerg unit they regain 1 hp and the 3rd glaive bounce does <1 dmg...does that mean it actualy heals your units? i thought that this may be explained by the fact that when u said it does 1 dmg it actualy does 2 and compensates for the 1 hp/hit regen....having this in mind....if you have carapace lvl 2 vs weapons 0....still <1 dmg hit...does it heal the unit?? thx in advance

The regeneration heals 1 hp with a certain delay and the first point healed is exactly when the damage bringing you below maxHP happends. The timer is stopped again once you reach max hp. Correct me if I'm wrong.
