You have #1 unmatched commentary, but you have a lot of tech problems. They would fix all of these problems.
Think about it! lol - ditch his livestream channel and the 30 million viewer minutes? Does he get cash for that or something? Otherwise, who cares? It just seems like such an obvious win-win... :-/ Stop trying to sell what's either your enterprise or your mates. Quite frankly, any service that promises a tech problem free existence is telling porkies. -edit Just noticed that glhf don't even provide streaming services, they just stream games through Ustream, which has no technical problems EVER. LOL, I am a 23-year-old Canadian college student with 0 interest in this outside of getting pretty, lagless Day[9] streams.
1) I don't know the glhf people at alllll... and they ALREADY do free streams of ZOTAC, so wtf? There is no fiinancial interest for them in this that I'm aware of.
2) I am very very pro-Day[9] and think glhf should just give Day[9] bandwidth.
3) The glhf guys expressed their interest in helping Day[9] out when I brought it up in the ZOTAC irc room today.
4) They don't "provide streaming services," but they have a killer rig that outputs lagless video 1000x prettier and smoother than Day[9]'s typical stream.
5) I love Day[9] a whole lot.
So take a chill pill and learn to love us humanitarians.

This! I was late in coming home that day so I only caught half of the April Fool's cast. I'd love to see the first half of it!

Sorry for the silly question, but where is the record of the team liquid invitational? Is there any chance it will go up on your channel? Or is there a special teamliquid livestream to find it.
>.> I need to watch nazgul vs TLO again.
edit; -.- Assumed it would require SC2. Sweet. TY

VODs of the matches can be found in the news post with spoilers for the invitational. Scroll down to the VOD section.

Hey guys -
I'm having a lot of trouble with livestream, especially it buffering on my computer. It seems to not want to download much in advance, and as a result I'm getting a very juddery broadcast. I've got a 1.5MBit connection, so it should be fine for most things.
Can anyone give me any hints about either a) How to increase the amount of buffering livestream will do, b) Finding the direct link in the source code so I can download it independently, or c) any other methods that would solve my problem.
Thanks all.

Really? Sure it's advertising, but it's not like the guy made 10 accounts and started spamming links. Day9 does seem to have technical difficulties from time to time - If a partnership with GLHF could fix that and let day9 focus on casting would that really be so bad?
Seems like a fair suggestion to me. Whether or not it is actually a good choice is up to day9 to decide.

Day9, you should do a cast on the Roach.

I didn't mean to sound irate, he is running a free operation, and more often than not, suggestions sound like demands, which annoys me when I have more or less trouble free watching.

I have to echo the sentiments regarding the technical issues. Please consider switching over to something other than Livestream. The service lags for a lot of Europeans, and it's no fun watching a slide show.
All other stream services works a lot better than Livestream.

I agree. A lot of times LS is lagging like hell. I dont have that problem at all with other services like sport streams

Strange... I had heard that ustream and the like have problems in Europe where livestream didn't. Although I've had some problems with watching the cast, in general it's been great. I think some of the allure of livestream is that it's so easy...

Day[9] when using Procaster it won't recognize starcraft when i use the Game source thing. I have to do screen but if i don't have it in windowed mode then it won't work. and the colors will be very dark. Help haha :D

Are the replays that Day9 comments on hosted somewhere easy to find? There have been a few BOs I'd like some more details on, but if Day9 is focusing on something else at the moment, it's hard for me to piece together the precise timing of some things.

YOU DO THIS FOR FREE!! JUST DO IT!!

Urgh, can you upload the april fools daily? I came in about halfway and it was hillarious..
When I had first opened the stream I thought it was serious as I have never played sc2 or watched it.. Took me actually a while to catch on.. I was really confused 'How could sc2 be so noob...'

He's already said he wouldn't. Also 3 pages before this one he gives this reasoning:
"Ok so lemme rephrase: in the april fool's cast, because I had to do a special reroute to get 2 audio lines output to the stream, the recorded quality is horrendous and you can hardly hear anything. And, I inadvertently display ALL of my personal information on the screen as I'm rebooting SC2. Because I value the small semblance of privacy I have left, I'm just going to let this one slide for now :>."
So looks like people are out of luck if they missed the April Fools one
