He only had Marines and SCVs, why did you not go upgraded Hellions? They cost the same as Marauders, only less gas and are Reactor unit on top of that. They are also light, so no Marauders do not kill them that fast. You don't even have to micro too much with them in that situation (like that fancy rally stuff you did), just click a unit in the middle of the blob.
And I disagree with day[9], a quick +1 weapon upgrade would have done wonders!

The way this is stated is just way too simplistic. The upgrade is not automatically a waste if it doesn't mean your unit kills his main unit in one less shot. There are too many factors involved (including, but certainly not limited to: the exact makeup of each army, the place where the battles are fought [can you re-engage with your reinforcements before he can get his reinforcements there, meaning you are attacking already weakened enemies], the expansion numbers, the building production numbers blah blah blah) to just make such a blanket statement. In the situation FA was in in that game, I agree with Day: getting the upgrade would probably have been a bad idea, but that doesn't mean the same thing as your post states. If you have the opportunity to get them, upgrades are almost always an upgrade to your army's effectiveness because of the lasting effects, whether the immediate ones cause a critical difference or not.

I'd have to rewatch, but I'm ~80% sure that Day didn't say it wouldn't have helped. I remember him saying the upgrade might have resulted in FA coming up just short in his defense while it was researching, causing him to lose the 9 o'clock expo and, therewith, the game. Pretty sure he said in the post game that it would have been very useful if it could have been achieved, but the getting there's the hard part.
Obviously that doesn't mean that he definitely would have died, only that he might have and it's a reasonable decision to forego the upgrade in exchange for a higher likelihood of survival in the meantime since a successful defense of that expansion from that dedicated aggression pretty much guarantees a victory.

Hellions did not enter my mind what so ever (nor did 1+, I think I like medivacs better anyway), but could be ok.
I think I'd rather get siege tanks tho, they eat marines alive as well. I guess it depends, if hellions don't need to research the pre-igniter upgrade to be effective they could be viable - I just can't start making them too soon or I'm pretty sure I'll die.

In regards to the +1 upgrade: Upgrades can't ever be bad as long as you can actually GET them. Sure +1 would help, but building an engineering bay, purchasing +1, and waiting a long time can be VERY dangerous when you're playing a game as intense as Jinro vs Lucifron. Imagine if Jinro had 5 less marines in one of those battles at the expo. It very well could have fallen! If Jinro wasn't on the brink of death all game long, then fuck yeah +1 upgrade aways :D

There were some seriously bad audio issues with the stream, so I had to turn it off. I hope they don't show up in the VOD.

It's weird because Day sometimes mentions audio issues and then I see this but I've never experienced anything out of the ordinary, in any episode, myself.

The audio is usually slightly out of sync for me, but tonight it was literally pausing/skipping every 10 seconds or so. I guess technically it wasn't just audio, it was the entire stream, but it's annoying anyway. Whenever the commercials came up though they played beautifully, so I have to assume it was Livestream not connecting well with Day9 and not with me.

Day - I'd just like to say that your BGH cast #65 is the greatest SC vid I have ever seen. I've watched it 5 times since you put it up. I lived for those epic friends BGH games all through High School. Good times and glory days from 2002-2004.
