I had to wait 4-5 hours more like and even then the servers were running shit tier level stability so I gave up and went to bed... Had trouble getting on even the next day xD. I don't have much faith in blizzard launches, but HotS has the basic work already laid out so by all means it should be a simple launch.

My gamestop is opening up at midnight for the God of War release so I'm getting it that way. May want to give your local gamestop a call and see if they are doing the same.

they said in their AMA that the servers will be ready to accept 9000+ logins within minutes of minute, fingers crossed as most people remember D3 release =x

How about VPN to unlock the game? If i remember correctly a vpn could unlock the installer in wings earlier too for you

Sometimes small non-chain stores will sell you midnight launch games a day before, since they can't/won't stay open until midnight. That's most likely what I'll be doing since I want the physical copy and to be able to play at midnight.

I just found out that the Game Stop right by me is also having a midnight release of God of War/HOTS. It just so happens that this Game Stop is literally next door to WalMart. So if I don't find it at WalMart then GameStop it is at midnight.

I called my gamestop about a week ago and no one knew about a midnight release, that said seeing some of you say that your gamestops are opening at midnight for a god of war/hots midnight release gives me a little hope....now the question would be whether i give a shit or not to show up to it lol.

gamestop in nyc is doing midnight release. what's the talk about 12pst though? will i be able to play at midnight est tonight? kinda defeats the purpose of a midnight release if game isnt playable yet

They have a list for when the servers should be online and ready to play for each time zone. Est time I think it said 3 am.
