Hello all, I have been getting back into SC2 and have been trying to push SH and Viper to their limits to see how they'll change HoTS for me. I've had some really fun results in ZvP in particular, but also am finding tons of viability for Swarmhost in ZvT :D

I have been releasing regular replay packs on my stream, but decided to pack them together here for anyone who is interested.

You can download the replay pack here (I recommend unchecking "use your download manager")

If you are looking specifically for Swarmhost heavy play, I recommend sticking to the ZvP/ZvT games, as I have not had much luck with SH in ZVZ due to mutas. Hopefully the upcoming spore crawler buff will help that a bit!

You make the Swarm Host seem very good. Maybe they are haha, i have a question. What do you consider the counter to SH?

Thanks I appreciate the compliment! For Protoss I'd say the best counter is blink stalker flanks. They can be VERY hard to deal with and are requiring me to reshape how I think about my overlord positioning (providing vision at the flanks rather than exclusively for creep spread over my SH). Second best is definitely a 2 base colossus all in, very hard to hold on Daybreak in particular.

ZvT, Pure bio is king vs SH, and requires a heavy commitment to infestor or ling/bling/muta by the zerg player before SH become viable. Second best would be siege tanks with mass raven support.

Well, it's more interesting to see Siege Mushrooms in ZvT and ZvZ matchups. In ZvP it looks clear, when they're good or not.

Also can you highlight replays with Swarm Host usage? Like in different rar-archive or rename all them to SH(1), SH(2), etc

Hmm sure Existor! I'll start doing that with my replays moving forward. It would be a LOT of time to do that retroactively, so for now it's just safe to assume that ZvP has swarmhosts, and a lot of ZVT

Sadly that all of your games with SH against Terrans are loses and not wins. Well, it requires a bit more testing.

Anyway need to continue experiments.
