Thanks David Kim! As a Zerg player I had a really scary couple week or two there where I wasn't op as shit and didn't know how I could feel that way again but then ya'll came along and were like "You know them infestor nerfs? J/K BRO LOLOL" and I love you for it.

Hey, those buffs for zerg (and nerfs for terran/protoss) must be inline with the theme of upcoming HotS.
Infestors shouldn't even existed in SC2, free units (that benefits from upgrades) as long as you do not suicide your infestors/have sufficient energy, that damn most inept spell combo ever conceived, dot+root = decimate tens of units in few seconds, being more potent than a dark templar/banshee when you sneak it behind enemy lines..., what else, you have a better chance to notice a cloaked unit moving around, but you need 100x+ magnifying goggles to spot burrowed infestors movement..


Yup, infestors usage is so retarted. Click aoe ensnare ability, with binding cloud that combo is sooooooo stupidly good...

In this days playing zerg doesn´t requiere as much skill as in 2010 early 2011, NesTea domination time. Good times

infestor is way worse than in WoL, mutas are unplayable in ZvT, hydras are faster but still suck as a unit because they got not a single buff. so stop telling lies.


How is fungal heavily nerfed? It's a projectile that does not behave like a projectile (no pdd interference), but it's very fast, and has more range than in WoL. The damage is exactly the same.

As for IT's, they mainly take tanks shots in TvZ, and they are marginally worse at that (3 shots v 4).

Proyectile fungal IS easy to use, no discussion here, unless you are lame or something.

I never said IT was imba. I said proyectile fungal is good and easy to use and they have +1 range. IT are good as they are now, 70 hp while hatching is ok.

Another thing, i don´t know why infestors doesn´t have a ripple while they move burrowed. DTs, banshee, observer are EASILY detected, unlike infestors.

lol most biased player ever. P is by far the best race in HOTS right now.

fungal is a bit worse now than in WoL because you can dodge it, especially with bio and blinkstalker and mutas.

IT ist A LOT worse: egg armor from 10 to 2. egg health from 100 to 70. and the hardest nerf: no more upgrades for IT. thats by far the hugest one. they do pretty much 0 damage vs 3 armor now.

so stop your biased trolling.

infestor is now not useless anymore. its a good but not OP unit which is perfect and how it should be. its a viable lairtech option now. sadly it is still one of the only viable ones. mutas suck ZvT, hydras suck without viper (and suck overall vs bio, storm, airtoss even with viper), SHs just suck and no buffs to nydus, ovidrop, burrowmovement yet. so i really hope there will be a huge patch to buff those units like the T buffs in patch 8.

Frankly a bit surprised that people are freaking out so much about fungal and not even mentioning the complete neutering of Widow Mines. Now used exclusively to kill mutes and lings ONLY. they no longer 1 shot roaches or queens, virtually no Toss units at all... If they're going to be nerfed this hard they should consider making them 1 supply again or cutting their recharge time in half as they were already barely used.

Can someone please explain to me why the fuck they won't try lowering the 100% snare? This boggles my mind to no end.
This will just lead to the same old shit, once a fungal hits you can get chained and your army is gone.

i also dont know. that would be the best change. just make fungal instant or very fast projectile and slow instead of root while buffing other zerg units to compensate. we´ll see, maybe they´ll test it.

I'd rather have all the new units removed than fungal buffed again... The only reason why I was thinking about trying HoTS was the fungal nerf. Sad news.

If they are going to buff Infestors for HotS, you may as well increase their supply to three or four to prevent the same WoL issues from happening. Or some other options are increasing the range of HTs and Ghosts to balance it out, or making other units like Hydras more viable rather than turning to Infestors as the only solution.

Though I do like the medivac change I cant say the same about the change to fungal. Having no risk the infestor dying when it casts spells is just promoting a moving and just spamming fungal growth without any concern for controlling infestors. No doubt that this'll be changed by release.
