Blizzard logic 2012. Never known a company be so clueless, fungal buff is way too big, give it the missile boost see how that works then if not try 9 range, dont bounce between underpowered and overpowered, its now stronger as low levels, and similar at the highest level, the only thing that can dodge a 15 speed missile is blinking stalkers, and thats if you can actually see the missile under the 100 broodlords and overlords

Thank you for nerfing blink, being 1 base all-in'd by diamond players 75% of my TvPs was not fun. The medivac change makes sense, as they intend that research to be of late game functionality. The other changes are nonsense though.

You can, but it's very hard. Especially on darker tilesets.

You can see burrowed roaches moving, but not the infestors. I never could.

That new medivac upgrade was too big of a change too and look where it is at now. It got a small tweak. Guess what will happen with fungal if this is too big of a change indeed.

Really like terran and toss changes. But infestors are basically the same they were before the nerf. Like when terran/toss gets nerfed shit is gone, upgrades are being removed, timings are changed forever, when they nerf the imbastor they reverse it after less than a month... GJ blizz.

i know you have a blog on gamedesign, but lets give it a shot.
a game is badly designed when it is contraproductive in reaching its goal, being a fun game (it is entertainment after all). A multiplayer game is not fun when it is unbalanced (because both sides should have fun for it to be a fun game, unless its sp you dont play a game by yourself.) hence an unbalanced game is bad game design. or if the game just is boring, so a boring game is badly designed. what makes something boring? small input for big output, aka low skill needed to achieve many different things or victories. FG mostly but spell casting in general falls under that category the way it is now. someone wrote a nice piece about how easy spellcasting was not good for this game, and frankly it is one of the things i dislike about sc2 (perhaps because coming from a different rts tradition, it is new for me and i still suck badly at it even though it is easy, i simply just forget i have it at my disposal )

It is clear by now their fixation with infestor alone is impairing their ability to bring any meaningful changes to other zerg units (Swarm host limited role, etc). I'm not surprised infestors will receive hp buffs in the next patch and the projectile removed for instant cast. If they were so concerned about ZvZ, why not improve hydra and spore damage to help boost Z defense against mutas?
