I like half the changes as a Zerg player. I agree that the fungal growth needed a little buff because it was impossible to catch mutas in ZvZ unless you were playing the game like counter strike and trying to go for the headshot like all the way from dust 2 A into long A pit with a glock. You have to have pure clairvoyance to catch mutas with infestors. I think they should of ONLY increased the range to give the chance to catch mutas BUT also give the marines still the chance to split before fungal catches them but time will tell how this missile speed will affect the game, it might of been slightly slow.

The widow mines I agree were overpowered, especially marine/widow all in was difficult to defend and still put you behind or hellion/banshee/widow to deny your third for ages.

The blink nerf i don't understand that one??????????? did some protoss annoy blizzard or something recently, just say your sorry.

Because 15 speed is ridiculously fast. To put it into comparison, an on creep Zergling has a speed of 4...

Guys wake up. 10 range means you actually see the projectile coming from a longer distance ! JUST OPEN YOUR EYES ITS SO OBVIOUS >_<

So much brainless whining there... 10 range = MORE DISTANCE = YOU SEE IT COMING
And if the infestor comes too close... it just dies to tanks and colossi.

Its actually the best way to nerf the infestor if they dont want to remove the root.

Terran buffs? There are only Terran nerfs.

And tbh those who didnt see a blink nerf coming really are too toss biased. It was obviously simple: Either the mummy core had to go, or blink later. Personally I rather had them nerfing mummy core back to the original idea, but that was never going to happen.

Btw quite funny they nerfed mothership to uselessness because they didnt want hero units, and guess what, mummy core is just as much a hero unit, only earlier in the game.

if blizz doesnt change significantly some of the major issues I wont play hots. Whats the point of a strategy game where you can't play smart or make strategic maneuvers to win a game. Beside tvt its just no fun. Too much mechanics are required too less mind.

That makes me sad because there is no alternative to sc2 :/

I saw a vid from before which showed fungal compared to EMP. EMP was about twice as fast. The buff (10->15) would imply fungal is about 75% of the speed of EMP.

The thing you have to realize is, even if the projectile is quite fast, it is still non-trivial to hit everything you want to hit, as long as your opponent is moving their units. There WILL be interaction with the spell now, whereas before there was none.

This patch really irks me. Widow mines kill almost nothing now... still cost gas and still have a 40 second recharge and build time and still only do 40 splash damage.... I'm actually seething with rage at these changes.

The infestor buff too is fucking silly. Buff the fucking Hydralisk ffs.

After the months and months of complaining, even by pros, Blizzard finally nerfed Infestors in HotS. People were happy. A week or two later of no complaining, they buff fungal to be better than it ever was T_T.

A 2 supply unit (mine) can't even kill a stalker. I can't even think about how you can make such changes.. So sad

The BW mine was so awesome: 3 (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) came out of 1 unit, and they just could blow a whole bunch of units up in no time. How do you go from such an awesome unit to such a sad unit? How???????
