Ugh, Emergency Thrusters is going to make killing drops a hell of a lot harder. Cadeceus Reactor might be too good now, that's kind of an insane upgrade. 15 HPS per medivac (not to mention the energy efficiency) means that without AoE, bio units are just not going to die ever.
I like the reaper change.
Widow mine change is good, and I like the idea behind the upgrade. The fact that it shut down all cloak tech was really lousy, killed a lot of strategy
Thor change sounds cool, means that mech anti-air is a lot stronger against non-light air units, and the fact that it has a long change time means that you have to plan ahead. This seems pretty awesome.
Seeker missile re-design is kind of cool, but unless it keeps the splash it's still rather useless.
Hellbats didn't really need to be stronger vs. melee units IMO, but there you have it.
The armory change is going to make air transitions super powerful and make mech play a combination of factory and starport units >_>. I'm actually terrified of how powerful mech might be now given that I'm gonna have to watch out for BC's and Banshees mixed in frequently.
Mothership is now useless, glad they got that over with.
Oracles now kill a worker in 1.72 seconds. Interesting.
Pheonix change is good, Dark Shrine: Thank effing god.
Tempest change is good to prevent the damn thing from hard countering all t3 that zerg has.
I'm not sure what the void ray is supposed to do here exactly.
Hydralisk change is good, it's about time.
Mutalisks did not need a speed boost, and this is going to terrify me as protoss. I guess it's okay since they are still slower than phoenix.
Swarm hosts didn't need an hp buff, the whole point was that you are supposed to keep them burrowed to avoid getting attacked at all -_-.
Infestor nerfs are fantastic.
Ultra buff is good, they needed it.
Making vipers harder to kill is terrifying, they're already one of the best casters in the game.
Umm this is crazy... It seems like Terran got the most significant changes like all of these changes are completely insanely game changing, I can't even begin to believe how strong MECH is going to be now, like in every matchup, especially vs Zerg.... I really love the widowmine changes, all of these changes are great but wow @ terran's changes, like they really want to buff the hell out of mech.
I don't understand the vortex change and the Oracle change, does that mean the oracle will be able to attack ground units now?
I want to test this, when's HOTS going to be back up ? :-p

Medivacs are going to be absurdly powerful, screw mech.
Medivac and reaper changes are interesting. Not sure what to think of them, but they could add some more exciting gameplay options.
Widow mine not targeting cloaked was necessary for reasons discussed many times before.
Thor: This change is perfect - now it's actually viable anti-air against all air, not just light units. This will help TREMENDOUSLY vs broodlords - in fact, if not for the fungal change, thors might actually be the better counter to BL/infestor than vikings. They also can fight all protoss air except tempests now, and with tempest bonus vs ground removed it won't even be a hard counter any more.
Raven: I don't like the seeker missile change. It overlaps too much with Yamato now, it was better when it had splash.
Armory upgrades: At this point anything that makes mech more viable is a great change. Might even be OP, but that can be dealt with later via numbers tweaking.
Protoss:
Motherships are literally useless now lololololol
Oracle: Protoss actually HAS A WORKER-KILLING HARASS UNIT NOW - that attack has a stupidly high DPS, but probably the energy requirement, short range, and the oracle's low health will prevent it from being OP in combat.
Phoenix: Wow, 7 range with the upgrade - you can actually kite corruptors now (if you have godlike perfect micro)
I'm a bit disappointed with the DT shrine cost reduction - it's a very boring way to make DTs slightly more usable. Plus it only really benefits rushes and not late-game use like they said they were aiming for - in late game that extra 150 gas is nothing. I would have preferred a researchable ability on the DT shrine.
Tempest change is good, they're definitely meant to be a late game unit and it was bizarre how early you could get one out. As a P player I obviously don't like the nerf to ground damage, but it was probably necessary.
Void Ray: don't know yet, we'll see how it goes
Zerg:
Everything here is pretty amazing. Hydra speed at lair is great. Muta speed buff is great, since they're still slower than phoenixes and can be kited. Swarm host and viper HP buffs are great. Ultra damage buff is great.
Fungal -> projectile is good, even though I was obviously hoping the root would be removed. At least this adds additional micro with the ability for the fungal to be dodged.
Oh hell yeah. Seriously now this feels like an entirely different game which makes me so happy. They really are starting to get a feel for what Starcraft should be. All these abilities sound so equally IMBA and fun. I can't wait for some free time to start playing this!!!!!!!!!

Zerg looks good, even though the Infestor nerf might be a bit too drastic. Medivac increase in price and functionality is going to mess up a lot of timings and play styles.
Overall I like these changes and cannot wait to try them out. Good thing Blizzard is not afraid to make some significant changes to the game. I LIKE!!!
Caduceus Reactor upgrade had the price increase, which is what buffs the stats of the medivac. The cost and build time of a medivac is unchanged.

I am very surprised by this patch. I think Vortex is kind of useless now kill 1 nonmassive target. still 100 Energy? what I really believe they need to get rid of the only make 1 unit aspect of that unit and decrease it's size greatly.
I love the other changes except for the Muta change holy shit mutas were already pretty fast and now they are just scary. I guess Toss will be always opening stargate in PvZ anyway, so we will see but I don't think phoenix can out run these mutas.
The core units are almost entirely unchanged from WOL and the other two races are DRASTICALLY changing for the better. God I hate to QQ but whats the point of playing when everybody has awesome new options and you get to play nearly the same as the past two years...
I like the change to Vortex, but I'd rather see it replaced with something else. Mothership should be an interesting unit, but it can't really have any super-strong abilities due to its role as a unique unit. Probably it would be best served by being done away with entirely and the Core/Oracle being reworked to accommodate?
I would have liked to see Ultralisks with the ability to walk over Zerlings/Banelings.
I'm very curious to see how the Void Ray changes play out. Also the new Thor cannons.

How did Terran early game detection improve?
He didn't say everyone got better detection, he said everyone has decent detection. Standard TvP builds get an early engineering bay and multiple orbital commands. If you get caught with no detection vs. a DT rush, you deserve to lose. If you're going mech you probably want an early raven for PDD vs. early stalker aggression or blink play anyway.
