Mini Series on new units and upgrades in Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm I went through all the units and upgrades talked at length about each ones details as well as some "theorycrafting" on possible uses for the units and changes. Point Defense Drone works on Tempest attack. Wow. Dragging a Colossus with Viper's Abduct removes all the FF on the path to where it will land. When casting blinding cloud on a bunker with marines in it the marines still have max range unless they leave the bunker. You can't target a siege tank with burrow charge. It acts like a building. But if you click next to it the AOE will still knock the tank. Yamato Cannon energy cost drop to 100 from 125. Energize doesn't work on any ally units or buildings. Mass recall on mothership core doesn't target ally units.
Wow, awesome work you did there actually trying different scenarios for each unit. I love that you tested the viper for dragging on hills and in the enemy base because I even wrote a comment saying that Zergs can now use this to pull their slow units out of AoE spells or attacks and since it works on burrowed units it's even better. Pull Broodlords out of danger anyone. ?_?
Could it be that the mutas range is so low that it might seem like it's not working but the AI just spreads them or they stack and all have range one ?
Also a question, they just patched the beta and the viper now.
Viper Blinding Cloud now hits everything, but the radius of effect has reduced from 2.5 to 1.5.
Does it also hit buildings ? Corsair like ? __________ Edit: o_O PDD on Tempest.

This is odd. Other abilities treat siege tanks in siege mode as units (like storm, fungal, graviton beam). Maybe this is an oversight or bug?
