It was a little more fun that I expected it would be, it's interesting to take on the variety of challenges and figure out the best way to accomplish the most difficult tasks. I know it's silly but I do get some feeling of accomplishment from pulling off tasks like 20 ghost snipe kills in a league game. I'll be damned if I'm going to sit there and play for countless hours, just farming wins against the computer... and it's mind-boggling to me that there are achievements for farming hundreds of wins against the computer in 2v2 and 3v3 teams. Does anyone even do this? I mean, I'm sure some people will do it because it's an achievement... but aside from that, does anyone sit there with two friends and team up against 3 computers all night long? I'll be honest, I am slightly proud of my 3250 achievement score. I do check other people's profiles and notice their scores. I've noticed all of the serious players have low scores and tons of horrible players have high scores... haha. I also checked the profile of a couple of serious achievement chasers who posted in achievement threads on here... one guy had something like 3920, which made me feel a little less proud of my score... which helped to remind me how utterly silly and pointless all of this stuff is. But I think it's OK for a game you really love. | ||

I had gone 3-0 in my 1V1 placement matches, when I decided to do some 2V2 (could've been 3V3). That's when I got the achievement. Certainly bugged and will probably be patches in V1.2 | ||

I actually had never done 2v2 random so I started that up. Teammates were awful, I spent most of my time saying "please make units", managed to win 4 in a row with my mutas though. (I swear my teammate had 5 in base hatcheries and 2500 minerals, tons of extra larvae spawned from queens, I saw an army coming and begged him to make lings... he wouldn't do it. "I'm going infestors!") So the fifth game starts... and my teammate is afk. Just sitting there, probes not doing anything, I'm pretty annoyed. Opponents are awful at least... a super fail cannon rush and badly controlled reapers come to me, I fend it off. Teammate finally disconnects so I can start using his base to get income... I start massing mutas and lings and take out the terran. The protoss was a real challenge though, he was putting up cannoned expansions and producing army on a regular basis... finally after almost an hour I'm able to win the game and go 5-0 in placement. AND THE *@$^#%* ACHIEVEMENT DOESN'T ACTIVATE. AGGGGGGGRHGRGRHGRHRGHRG | ||

I had 5/0 in some placements but I didn't get achievement till I played 1 4v4 game with a friend of mine... So after playing 1 placement match I got it! also my friend didn't get it It could be I was playing just as they hotfixed it... dunno | ||

Perhaps those who get 5-0 in a placement match and who didn't get the achievement probably has the trigger for the achievement bugged up somewhere, and that the only way to get it to trigger is to keep playing. Accordingly, the players who got the achievement after a loss or a non-placement match suddenly caused a previous 5-0 placement record to finally trigger the achievement. I don't know. I hate it when the game is unpredictable like this. | ||

Yes, this achievement is active. Sometimes people have been getting it at weird times - seemingly random. However, the people who actually in 5 games in a row are also getting the achievement - so its not too serious. If you cant get it, just make a new team. | ||
