Blizz always has lots of fun in their games.
In War3, there were so so many little easter eggs and secrets. You find Panderan relaxaton area, smallest crevices revealed funny names or strange references. You can also find Hydralisk that dealt 110 piercing damage. There was an unlockable Tower Defense level and if you beat the game in Hard mode (which is fucking HARD, worse than Brutal), you get a Arthas concert cinematics and Archimonde comically filming popular War2 cutscenes.
Starcraft 2 has very little secrets. So far there are only 3:
1. A brief glimpse of Tauren Space Marine
2. Diablo in Reapers level
3. Piercing the Shroud
Do you get anything special when you beat the campaign in Brutal? Tauren is a fully fleshed unit as seen here: http://us.starcraft2.com/features/terran/taurenmarine.xml Why don't we get to play it? In War3 april fool's, Panderan Brewmaster became a real playable unit..
I just feel bit empty. I beat the game and this is it. =\

I doubt that these are the only secrets in the game, it has been out for like 2 days and i expect a lot more secrets to be discovered soon enough.

And general Warlock taking quote: "terrible, terrible damage". And references to duke nukem etc etc. Try clicking on the units multiple times. The things they say.. omg.
So much humor in this campaign its amazing.

There is also this unit which has portrait looking just like Dustin Browder if I am not mistaken. Maybe it was a Goliath or something else, I am not really sure.

The news channel easily made up for a potential lack of easter eggs(it took a little bit until people found all the war3 ones, or at least until someone found 'blacksheepwall'). I'm pretty sure Donny Vermillion UNN is going to be my smurf name in every game from this point onward.

One of the mercs also looks a bit like Dustin Browder. And so does the ingame vulture riders, not the portrait. At least on my graphic setting.
A bit off topic perhaps, but was some fun "thanks" in the credits as well.

Actually If I remember right you just had to find the sheeps in the mission in which you escaped from the jail with kael'thas, and arrange them or something. Then collect the box.
But yeah, idd. the game lacks easter eggs...

Idk, more "easter eggs" although vilely known is the Goliath icon, being Dustin Browder.

There's the easter egg in the news where a publicity is advertising a band with hit songs like Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, etc except they changed some words to match the SC universe.

In the secret mission, if you can search you will find a :
+ Show Spoiler +marine murluck like in the picture of the marine toren
and if you too lazy to search it he is :
+ Show Spoiler +go out where you can get some renforcement and lounge the right wall you will see a blue light on the ground. When you're on check on the island on the north

I don't get your point, this game has more easter eggs than warcraft III (maybe even roc + tft) and you are throwing tft easter eggs in, wich is an expansion.

During Piercing the Shroud's intro scene you will see Jim say "Stay Frosty", which is a refference from Aliens (and later Generation Kill). Given the maps nature I don't think it's a coincidence

One reason is that most of the maps are time-limited, so you don't really have time to explore. Try using the remove fog of war cheat...there might be many other things.

The game has been out for 2 days, chill out.

since nobody mentioned it,There's the Dr. Who spaceship flying around in the background, I've seen it on several levels and *I also heard it flies outside the window of the hyperion if you complete the secret mission*

First of all, there are a lot more than three so far. Second of all, you said it yourself: so far. They're easter eggs because they're hidden. More will pop up, I guarantee it.
