Instead of being lame like this, can someone give me some tips for doing Maw of the Void for this achievement? Going on normal but I keep trying to rush this and end up eventually running out of resources

Too lazy to get enough research for Science Vessels so I've been using Mules and they work quite well. Would a few extra bcs really make all the difference? Especially with teh carriers, the mothership, cannons and stalkers

I saw a video where a guy went ghosts with increased vision and orbital drops. Got like 4 nukes lined up or something then scanned and orbital dropped the ghosts in a detection free zone just in front of the vault area. He then nuked the objective and won in like 3/4 minutes.
Edit:
Also if you're just doing the mission straight up. Just go pretty much pure bc with a few units to defend your base, is easy peasy. Science vessels help but aren't necessary especially on difficulties below brutal. If you're running low on cash make sure you're getting all the pickups.

Don't be lazy get enough research for science vessels.
I just bought SC2 today and got this on normal, gunna try it on hard tomorrow. 90% of the missions I just went lulz terran imba bio ezpz and sweeped the place. And yes, for the last mission, mass BC + sci vessels lol.
So.. If I complete ~17/19 on brutal, save the game on hyperion (before going to char), complete all the other missions for 28... load the 17/19 save and complete the campaign... I can get the brutal completionist on the same day as this achievement?
Here's a save for the achievement on patch 1.1.3, with about a minute until the end of All In. I took a roundabout way through the missions so I could get all research along with vikings and banshees to do Engine of Destruction of Brutal (my last brutal mission), but I was still under 8 hours. Enjoy.
is there an in game total timer for completed missions? i'd like to start this one but i want to look at my time when i'm just messing around to see what i need to cut out

There isn't. If I were you I would just restart the entire mission. Skip the Zeratul storyline and rush towards all-in. You can do it in 16(?) missions.
I recently completed this achievement in roughly 4 hours 45 minutes, with doing Tosh's first mission just to make Outbreak a complete joke. While a nice commodity, I had no tech-reactor research, as well as no Psi-Disruptors.
It's a very simple and somewhat fun achievement. Just switch your game speed to Faster, upgrade your marine/medic/siege tanks, and go at it!
I just finished getting it. Here is a link to the end of all-in for current patch. I'm not sure how this works though, shouldn't you need the campaign save too?

Just the needed missions, and I suppose any extras that give you units that help in general.
Trust me, you won't really be needing a mission order, unless you somehow manage to pick all the longest missions and aren't doing them in a rush-mood.
Of course, if you're doing it on harder difficulties, then that's something else...
I managed to quite easily get this achievement by just randomly messing around doing missions that I felt were shorter, and some units that I wanted. As long as you remember to do the artifact missions as soon as you can, you should have no trouble.
I would stay out of the Matt Horner missions though, at least they felt quite timetaking for me. I think I did every tosh and hanson mission, and the first zeratul one.
Alright, thanks. I might do all the Zeratul ones because there's a way to do the second in 3 minutes, and can't you just kill your own buildings on the last one for the shortest time?
Every time I see people begging for saves to get achievments it boggles and saddens me, especially here on TL...
It's essentially cheating to get meaningless points, when it would just take you a couple hours of your own work anyways. Personally I would lose all of the tiny amount of pride I have in my achievement number if I knew I didn't actually deserve it at all.
As for getting this achiev, I would do the protoss missions except for utter darkness, then the tosh missions through to the end, choosing the tosh option at the end, and then do as many hanson missions as you need to to have the artifact missions all unlock.
missions to try and avoid: Utter darkness Any of Matt's missions, all except the last are major time-sinks
Make sure you have enough time for all-in before even playing it, because it will always be the exact same length (30 minutes)
