Serie A is the only major league where the title race is going to the last day. Napoli are a point ahead.
Serie A rules dictate that there is a playoff match for all the marbles if they finish level on points. Inter's superior goal difference mean they would host a playoff, rather than win the title.
Both teams go into their crucial final match without a manager too, both Conte and Inzaghi go sent off overnight!

Well if you mean big5 yes.
If you expand to 7 (and include the other 2 previuously fighting with France for the 5th spot) then Portugal also went to the last day.
But it was mostly Sporting fumbling after Amorim left than actually having a super competitive fight this year. We've had better not so long ago

I do kinda hope Napoli lose and we draw because man, a one-off league playoff would be pretty damn hype!

Ajax managed to piss away 10 points in the last 5 games.

But Serie A getting McTerminated would be cooler.
My anger at the Dutch clown who side-lined McTominay and Henderson is especially high this week...

the dutch clown made many stupid decisions but letting henderson go wasnt one of them. he was lucky to even be on the pitch after the stupid handball

the real mistake was letting de gea go. that genuinely makes me mad

Henderson was pretty good playing for Forest when we were bottom of the table. What I found was he'd make some really really good saves but also let goals in that left you questioning him a bit, especially his positioning on shots from distance. Not like Onana though, that guy is way too chaotic.

Really? De Gea's wages were astronomical IIRC... I dont think it was a mistake to let him go. But you should have went for someone cheap and young

omg Pep is threatening to leave City publicly? What is happening behind the scenes?

But you should have went for someone cheap and young I don't remember the financial situation around De Gea, but he was worth every penny when compared with his replacement. Onana is just awful.
But I was wrong before, it wasn't Ten Hag who alienated Henderson. That happened under Solskjaer's watch. Ten Hag just happened to be in charge by the time Henderson left. But Ten Hag's 100% responsible for Onana so he's still a clown...

de gea agreed to a new contract with a substantial wage cut before he was forced out. united offered him the contract then yanked it after he was ready to sign; that kind of bad faith business is just despicable especially when de gea was a legend for us. the fact that onana was his replacement makes everyone involved in de geas departure absolutely unforgivable and i will hate them all forever
on another note i am dreading this europa final. ill get up at 5am to watch it but i am actually feeling anxiety for the match. my desire to see united in the champions league is nowhere near as big as my desire to see united not lose to tottenham. the thought of being THE club to be sacrificed to hand bloody tottenham their first major trophy just gives me complete chills. get sick even thinking about the humiliation

we got a few spurs fans in the office so it will be a great feeling coming into work this morning if we win.
conversely, if we lose, i'm going to to be hearing it for the next few days.

fuck me that goal epitomized how awful the season has been this season. onana being the worst keeper in the world and the defense being absolutely clueless in the box.

Luke Shaw managing to score an own goal from a handball in the box and Onana looked like he was having some kind of seizure on the goal line.

that was one of the most dreadful finals i've ever witnessed lmao
spurs winning is softened by the fact ange is the manager but outside of that i'm gutted

FUCK THIS FUCKING TEAM. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
most pathetic display ive seen in a fucking final. how these players are literally walking around the pitch trying to play football like its a fucking 5 a side game is unbelievable.
and fuck you ten hag. onana is the worst purchase in recent united transfer history without a shadow of a doubt. a fucking sloth could have kept that goal out

Haha, I was rooting for both teams to lose, too bad that wasn't one of the possible outcomes. The football was even worse than you'd expect from a final. Spurs were 'defending' for the entire second half, but had no pressure on the ball, so everything United tried was dangerous. Yet United had no sense of urgency and were just playing it wide and between themselves. They only started doing something in minute 89. And all of it was accompanied by physical play and dumb decisions. Good thing this gets you #16 max in the PL.
