Possibly my favourite Prem stat thus far is that if only home games counted Brentford would be top of the league, and if only away games did they’d be bottom. That’s mental! Might be down to Chelsea to push Liverpool at this stage though, I think Arsenal missing their chance to capitalise on Liverpool’s mini-blip might leave them too much to chase back at this point.

Maybe just took him some time or maybe he just fits better into Amorim‘s system, but he’s looking pretty bloody good. Robin Gosens was never super outstanding before Atalanta or after Atalanta, but Gasperini managed to get tons out of him there. Maybe Diallo’s a bit of a player like that

That's 4 sacked managers in the EPL so far this season. If I remember correctly there were only 3 last year, it's reverting to the mean.

I've never seen a more inept, arrogant display of management in the Premier League.

Its one of those accidental fouls where the keeper was diving towards the players feet and in trying to jump over the keeper's face he has studded him in the face instead. Its a rare player who is trying to do that to their opposition, and I'm not sure what he did qualifies as dangerous play as the danger was initiated as much by the keeper as the player. If he hadn't tried to get out of the way of the keeper it would have been his knee and the injury wouldn't have been as bad, but he's pretty stuck in this instance.

It was a match in which United's expected goals (xG) was 2.38 and actual goals were three - and Tottenham scored four goals from just 0.67 xG. https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cgrwqkv71v0o WHAT

I guess it's currently being made even worse by the aging roster. Players like Walker, KDB and Gundogan just can't cover as much ground as they used to.
