The ethical implications are...troubling. But from a football perspective, it doesn't bode well either. Watson shouldn't be allowed to play again imo, but even if and when he is, no one is going to be rooting for him, the Browns are gonna go back to being the Browns, and those 3 first rounders are gonna be top 5-10 picks every year.

I totally agree with you. And honestly for me, the browns have always been the browns lmao. The last 2 years they were so hyped and nothing happened lol. Instead, the bengals took off and look much more promising. I also think the steelers are going to be better than last year with Roethlisberger finally gone. His noodle arm last year was hard to watch. If ravens have lamar healthy, browns have no chance

RB wise I believe they still got Duke + Gaskin. Not bad either. Edit: nvm Duke is in Bills now.

Why are so many teams in the AFC trying to win in the next couple of years? The Browns, Broncos, and Colts all traded for a quarterback. The Raiders traded for Adams, the Dolphins for Hill. The Chargers traded for Mack and signed JC Jackson. Then you still have the Bills, Bengals, Ravens, Titans, and Chiefs. The Patriots made the play-offs last season and I haven't even mentioned them, although I would be surprised if they made it back. I expect the Jets, Steelers, Jags, and Texans to be bad, but there are easily 11 teams in the AFC who could make the playoffs. Meanwhile, over in the NFC, the Buccs and Rams are a cut above everyone else. The Packers and Cowboys look weaker than last year, the 49ers are probably handing over to Lance and I have no idea how he will do, and the Cardinals cannot keep Murray healthy. That's only 6 teams still. One more will make the play-offs. The Vikings perhaps. Maybe the Commanders or Eagles. The list of bad teams in the NFC is long in comparison; Lions, Bears, Giants, Falcons, Panthers all look lost. I don't expect much from the Saints or Seahawks either.

Which when QB by far the highest paid position makes it way easier to fill in the rest of the roster. Right, but that just means that other teams have to save money somewhere else. And when you are paying your QB that much, you gotta lean on him a bit to carry your offense. Obviously, you don't want your receiving corps to be so crappy as to waste his potential, but having 2 expensive targets in Kelce and Hill is unworkable too.
