That's a really weird post but ok.
The Watson saga is the latest in a long line of terrible behavior, it's really gross and is the straw that breaks the camels back.

This happens almost every year where some player does some horrible thing and everyone speaks out that they're "done with the NFL" and yet here we are. You weren't done with the NFL when AP disciplined his kid. Or when any player abused their SO, or when Rothlisberger raped someone, etc. So this instance here, this is the one straw.

I’m personally glad Vikings didn’t have the means or capital to pursue Watson. I would likely not enjoy games as much if that were the case.

People will cheer for their favorite gladiator as long as he beats all the other gladiators.

Right, i'm racist because I don't like Deshaun Watson sexually assaulting women. /s
Your point being that only white people in the NFL do bad shit and this the first time a black athlete has done something wrong and it's hypocritical to get mad about it?
I see. Don't think I can counter such intelligent points there buddy.

Never been a Ruthlessboner fan, and always thought that two separate rape allegations should have been way more indicative of a pattern of behavior than one, and treated as such...
Watson has 20+ pending accusations for sexual assault. I'm kind of flabbergasted that there are any teams interested at all, let alone several teams that seem to be willing to give up a lot of draft capital to make him the face of their franchise. If I were a fan of one of those teams, I'd probably have to stop rooting for them. Fortunately, our current QB isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

I see. Don't think I can counter such intelligent points there buddy. I won't argue this point much longer. I didn't say you were a racist. I didn't even imply that you were. I implied that Watson having these allegations (which many were dropped/not indicted for, hence the teams actively pursuing him now) shouldn't stop you from watching the game as all of the previous accusations of players doing horrible shit didn't stop you. I said I didn't want to make it about race but this fervor against Watson wasn't seen when Brady supposedly got a handjob. Nor when Kamara punched someone, or any college football player or NFL player is accused of something over the years.
To finally say that black Watson killed your intent to "support" the NFL is ludicrous when it could have been a white Watson and you wouldn't have said a word about it. If you're done with it, be done with it. No one cares that you're finally taking a moral stand.
Don't watch the games. No one ever stopped you.

Edit - Had a long post and decided to shorten it down.
I find Watson's behaviour sickening. It is totally against my morals and my abhorrence to it is why I'm finally done with the NFL.
Both black and white athletes have done bad shit in the past, you mentioned AP yourself.
Labelling every criticism as racist doesn't help anyone.

Again, I didn't say you were racist. I said I find it weird that now, after all of the shit, this is the moment you take a stand. It just so happens to coincide with a Black athlete.
(I could mention Ruggs, Kamara, Hunt, Ray Lewis, etc as more black athletes that did something bad. The race isn't the issue, it's the severity. But Watson's allegations that a grand jury decided not to indict him on, and those that were dropped, is the moral stand you are finally going to take. I just find it weird that this is the one. Granted, I haven't gone into deep research on the allegations and what all that he did, taking the reports/stories that come out at face value.)
Anyway, good luck and hope you find another sport hobby to spend your time on. ^_^

Throwing a little legal analysis into the ring. What I personally think happened in this case was that, each case was going to be hard to individually prosecute, and the defense would win a motion to try each separately, so each jury would not ever hear or get the impression of a pattern of behavior. This is appropriate in a system where the legal standards are: "Beyond a reasonable doubt" and "Innocent until proven guilty."
And I've seen a lot of wild takes about the meaning of the grand jury not indicting which I think are disconnected from the real world. Yes, it is easy for a prosecutor who wants an indictment (typically to force a plea deal) to get one. But a prosecutor does not want that kind of indictment in a high profile case (we've seen this in other cases, namely high profile cop cases). Its better for his career to not lose a case on a weak indictment in a high profile case.
Still, I don't think anyone could realistically know what the NFL is going to do, because a lot of these civil cases seem quite strong, and the NFL has never previously required a criminal case to suspend. At least 12 of the cases seem pretty strong. Even a weak suspension for each would be what? 2-3 Games? That is a 24-36 game suspension. It would be pretty extreme, but its kinda crazy to pretend this is just one incident like a lot of people seem to be.

Deshaun Watson has decided that he wants to play for the Cleveland Browns, sources told Adam Schefter. Watson has informed the Texans that he is willing to waive his no-trade clause to be dealt to Cleveland, sources said. A grand jury declined to indict Watson on criminal charges in connection with harassment and sexual assault allegations. He is facing 22 civil lawsuits and the NFL could still suspend Watson.
From ESPN reporting. Probably why Baker wanted to leave.

That’s big time for Houston.
Also lol Falcons. This is just too much.

3 firsts a third and $230m guarenteed money.
got to be the most expensive purchase in league history.
And don't worry guys the browns made sure that he is structured to only have $1m salary this coming year so when he gets suspended he doesn't lose that much money.
