It's a shame. We needed one goal, any goal so that we didn't need to pull Demko. Well- it very often felt like an overmatched series kept in by our goal tending many a time. We put up a good fight and went down swinging.

vegas had a longer break than the canucks between series and guys like toffoli, myers, miller and our all star d-man are playing injured

the shot count tells the story in who was more fatigued

the NHL is fucking stupid and gave no explanation for why they scheduled 5 games in 7 nights

With any luck, the extra week off for Tampa got McDonagh healthy enough that they don't have to run 11 F/7 D again. The way that the Islanders make life difficult and painful in the crease/slot/dangerous parts of the ice isn't gonna let them get away with double-shifting guys, especially if they have another Kucherov-like incident where they get bumped down to 10 F. And the 3rd line absolutely has to keep clicking for them to have any chance, it would be nice if the Cirelli/Johnson/Killorn line showed up with a little bit more impact for the series, too.

This core group has been close for a very long time and more and more im convinced that it will one of those teams that will end up always being close but never get it.

Back in 2004 it was not that easy to get NHL games and/or info around here so I didnt experience it the proper way. Im still hoping for a win now and being able to follow it in more detail

Dallas is an underdog in this, although healthier than Tampa. I'm leaning towards Tampa winning although I have been wrong 50% of the time this year.

dang the finals deliver. Holy shit are we for a treat boyz. Its got everything - the goalies, the physicality, the emotions, the goals, the powerplays, the game misconducts and so on. Also, Joe Pavelski has a real shot to get the Cup, that would make a beautiful story. On the other hand, how fucking lucky/smart would Pat Maroon appear if Bolts win!
