At some point its on receivers to have a consistent head position as well. If he hadn't rotated it would be a shoulder to back hit. Clearly a penalty under the rule, but let's not assume he's Barry Allen.

You can't expect people running full tilt to be able to keep their head on a swivel when they're concentrating on making a catch. People aren't superheroes.

Replace "catch" with "tackle" and you will understand the dilemma even better. And the ball doesn't swerve to avoid you

Patriots will avenge you Chiefs. I've always said that Alex Smith was good enough. But that's it. A lot of problems with this team still but he's the main culprit in my eyes. GG Steelers. Bend over for Brady and Co

I could make a 30 minute long video of Tamba Hali getting put in chokeholds by defensive tackles that weren't called as holds. So how can you call that a hold in the biggest play of the game? The lack of consistency by NFL refs is just outstanding.

Not complaining if they were actually consistent in calling it. Why wait until the biggest play of the game to do so, while ignoring the holds that weren't called before?

the packers dallas game was by FAR the best this season. even the final fg kick looked close. fucking ggs.

aaron rodgers and elliot were exceptional.
