Baylor needs to cut down on its scandals. Isn't this their second football related scandal since 2000? They also had a basketball one that they are just recovering from.

Oregon to announce next head coach in next 24 hours. Word is he is currently not a P5 head coach (Chip Kelly obv cause he's in the NFL /s). Most people are speculating that it will be Willie Taggart from South Florida since it has also been said that PJ Fleck and Oregon have broken off talks

seems like it. College football had a surprisingly low number of midseason firings as well. There were a few but there were way more in previous years

yeah now that i think about it coaches have been getting fired pretty earlier in past seasons, didn't even realize it.

one of the funnier stories has to be the salt difference between how Herman and Rhule have left their respective schools. Rhule took a full page out in the Philly newspaper thanking the fans and the school for everything and how he will always keep them as a part of his family and Herman posted a screenshot of the notes app from his iphone

Yeah I think the firing mid season is bigger for college than NFL since you need the earlier jump on recruiting for college.
