What better QB? He is like the 10th-12th, just without the ceiling of a Fluke-o, but much more consistent.

Foles isn't gonna cut it and Bray (third string) is a project who has been in the league a few years now and although he has shown some improvement during preseason, he probably isn't the long term answer. Alex has had some really good moments this year but they've been overshadowed by some really bad moments. The main issue is that he isn't able to scramble like he used to. Although he did get a first down with his legs tonight, that's one of the few times he's done so this year. Not sure if it's due to him getting old or if he's just really afraid of concussions after taking hits in Indianapolis and hitting his head on the concrete there that they consider "turf". Obviously his arm hasn't been the strongest during his career, but he's always been able to scramble and pick up a lot of yards that way, usually to the point where the other team would have to spy him, which would free up his receivers. Teams don't have to do that this year because he has barely run the ball at all, which has hurt him quite a bit. I don't follow college ball so I'm not sure what QB's are gonna be available this year but hopefully the Chiefs can snag one. However, the most pressing need right now is MLB since DJ is up there in the years and, after rupturing his other achilles tonight, is probably done for his career. Maybe they try to get a QB late and try to go with Alex as long as they can but that's not gonna be too much longer.

Alex Smith is still good enough that the Chiefs can wait another year if they don't find a qb they like in this draft. Their teams lucked into Dak, Brady and I think Wilson as well. It's hard to find qbs like that. Smith protects the ball well because he's a checkdown master. He went a year without throwing a td pass to a wr early on his Chiefs career.

In 2 years you might be contenders, but there's a scandal waiting to happen with him. From illegal recruiting practices to player treatment. (Not saying he would do that, but I feel that's his vibe for some reason haha) The word is they passed on Kiffin because he refused to negotiate a contract with a high buyout. Houston said they didn't want to deal with the coach being bought out and leaving in 2 years again

No one plays or coaches without being paid in full no matter the outcome

Somehow our coach "upgraded" to ASU and Wish after .500 seasons. Like, wtf? Hopefully Narduzzi stays and keeps the ball rolling.

Hopefully Narduzzi stays and keeps the ball rolling. the worst was probably Arkansas State a few years back. I believe 4 consecutive years their coach was bought out and hired away to a bigger program. Hugh Freeze went to Ole Miss. Gus Malzahn went to Auburn. Brian Harsin went to Boise. I believe there was 1 more. nvm wiki says it was just those 3 in a row
