Actually way too well and I don't understand how I've lost the amount of weight I have. I track almost all of my calories (almost everything that my college serves has nutrition facts on it), and I'm relatively decent at guesstimating what the amount of calories is in food that doesn't list its macros. But I've lost 8.6 lbs in a week.I don't know how poorly I would have to be tracking calories in order to come up with a 3500+ calorie deficit per day. I'm sure at least some of it is water weight, but it just doesn't make sense. A typical day of eating looks like this: Breakfast: bowl of cheerios (nothing even decent for breakfast usually) 1 scoop of whey in water banana/apple/orange Lunch: 1-2 grilled chicken breasts a hamburger/whatever other protein the dining hall is serving whatever carb the dining hall is serving (rice usually, sometimes some kind of potato) whatever vegetables they're serving (generally some mix of corn, broccoli, carrots, edamame, or cauliflower) Dinner: main protein the dining hall is serving (I usually get 1.5-2 servings of it) main carb main vegetable Snacks: I'll generally eat some fruit throughout the day, maybe I'll go to the dining hall before a workout Breakfast comes out to about 500 calories on average, lunch is usually like 500-700,.and dinner can vary depending on the protein offerings but it's usually at least 600 and up to 800 or 900 calories. I've taken my weight at the same time each day it just seems really weird that I've lost as much weight as I have. Should I be concerned? I can gain or lose 5lb of water in a day (fasted), leading to the kind of swings you're talking about depending on just my salt/carb/water intake and activity level the previous day. I would sya google "woosh effect" but I don't think that usually kicks in so early into a cut.

I also try to stay relatively hydrated, but I admittedly know very little about how water retention works so they could be completely separate.

i decided my back problems are coz i got fucked up ribs and i looked at an internet picture of the human bones and it looks reasonable that having fucked up ribs will cause fucked up back for wrist i punch a punch bag before every workout then take off my boxing gloves and punch it again. its great for wrist control (coz you will find punching a punchbag requires wrist control otherwise you just spaz your wrist back on impact) edit: oh i read the posts . i gave myself carpel tunnel after overstraining practicing guitar, it lasted approx 24 hours, hopefully yours will recover like that too. i have to be a bit careful comboing guitar + dota + clicking job coz i can feel myself overstraining every once in a while

I think giving this kind of bullshit advice to serious concerns is just retarded and it's probably better if you don't give an opinion at all if your claims are based off inferences you draw from pictures... And your carpal tunnel lasted for only a day?? Can you stop saying that you suffer from shit that you don't, because frankly it makes you sound stupid. Stop being an overly fragile shit and grow some balls holy fuck, aren't you already in your fucking 30s??

Most often, it is not your ribs being messed that cause scoliosis. But instead that the scoloisis messes your ribs up. And if it is scoliosis in rib height, it can make your whole ribcage uneven and warped. This can be easy to spot. The way to do that is to stand with straight legs and then bend forward with a straight back, if you have scoliosis you will see it instantly. (Im no bone-expert, I just have scoliosis in that particular part of my back). Plus, the wording you used made it sound like you sat infront of your computer with a slightly aching back, looked at a skeleton and arbitrarily decided your ribs are causing your back to be bent, or something like that.

On March 12 2016 03:47 FFGenerations wrote: go ahead and google "carpel tunnel guitar" and "scoliosis back pain" Yes, guitar playing can lead to carpal tunnel, but wrist pain for 24 hours isn't what carpal tunnel is. It's a chronic condition that's a combination of nerve and tendon issues, and it's not really from a single source but rather a build up from the overall conditions and actions of your life over a period of time. Rib issues come from scoliosis, not the other way around, and if you had scoliosis this wouldn't be the kind of thing you were deciding/realizing now, it would have been diagnosed when you were a child/teen. You can convince yourself you have pretty much anything if you google enough. If you're genuinely worried about a condition, see a professional. Self-diagnosis isn't a thing.

i didn't say rib issues dont come from scoliosis, who the fuck said that? i asked osmosis if he had crooked ribs i didn't say i just realised i had scoliosis, i said my back problems probably come from it people dont just get "diagnosed" with stuff when they are kids, my father's a GP and no one has ever told me i have scoliosis nor any other defect. on the other hand i spent 20 years wearing tshirts in swimming pools and traumatised incase anyone saw my freakish body and know its congenital coz my father has big scars down his front where he had surgery from it im not worried about any condition gj reading

Nerve entrapment (ulnar perhaps) is probably closer to what you're referring to with "carpal tunnel". There's nothing wrong with someone calling you out on using a medical term inaccurately. We're all here to help each other out. It's also standard to get a scoliosis screening in the US at a young age in school fwiw.

Anyone have any suggestions for what sort of diet I could do to lose a few pounds while not stopping my lifting or are those two contradictory things?
