Bayern could easily double their prices since allianz arena is always sold out when they play. They also give cheap tickets to fan clubs. For a membership in a local fan club I pay 10€/year and for a CL group game (seat) for example I paid 50€ + 150 km bus transfer to the arena and back which is fair imo.
Prices for a beer or a snack are ~ 5€ though which is rather expensive (but I dont know about the prices in other countries)
Lovren, Gerrard, and someone else are watching James with the ball, meanwhile no one notices Ronaldo running into this wide open channel, except Skrtel. But Skrtel is never going to catch Ronaldo. Lovren eventually realizes what's going on but he's already pushed up and committed to closing down James, so he can't intercept the ball, leading to Ronaldo's goal.
Pretty big win for Sunderland. When it comes down to it at the end of the season I expect both Crystal Palace and Sunderland to be hovering around the relegation zone. And these 3 points might well make the difference.
Do tickets vary widely in price based on the seat locations in Europe/England?
I almost never go to top league sports here in the US cause it just seems so expensive. At my local NHL hockey team for example, if you buy tickets from the club a standing only ticket at the very top of the stadium is like $60, the high up seats are like $95, the lower level tickets near the corners are $160 and the prime lower level middle seats are like $240+. For non-big games you can find some seats for less by buying from season ticket holders, like very top corners for $50-60, but these are pretty bad views. (and this is not the biggest game in town, that's the NFL football for sure)
Wow crazy prices. Seems you have the same issue in America as in England. The average fan gets priced out of games and they all just prefer to go to bars to watch the game than pay half their salaries a month to go watch it live. Thus you get a dull atmosphere.
Ranging from £595-1250 at Chelsea. £750 for Matthew Harding stand which is best for atmosphere. In comparison i think Chelsea is like mid table for pricing, Arsenal and Yanited at the top i believe.
Only home games. This also excludes cup games. Might include the home games in champions league (group stage only). Other than that it allows you to get first priority in those games that you "not" have a seat for.
You have to make applications for away european tickets no matter if your a season ticket holder or not. I think away games are just membership based. You apply to get the ticket when they go on sale.
Works out at £40 something per game. But like i said it excludes cup games and champions league knock out games, just give you priority to purchase. If not a regular ticket at stamford bridge is £50-70 depending on the game. If you are a member which costs like £20 for the year or something. Non member your looking at £10 extra so like £60-80. Matthew Harding stand for best atmosphere again is £56 as member £61 non member.
I've experienced live match only once. When Chelsea came to Moscow to play against Rubin in Europa League. Organizers gave the cheapest stand for away fans. I payed something around 23 bucks for the ticket. Bought it through russian\unkranian fan site.
Wow nice price, i went to the home game of that tie too. I would highly recommend any fan of football to follow their team away from home at least once in their life time. It is just the best experience you can have as a football fan. Singing all day long, talking constant football, being out numbered and still being heard the loudest etcetc. Just great fun! The one thing i have left to do is go away to a champions league match, which i will achieve in 2015 i have forced my dad to go with me haha. Hopefully a nice draw in Spain or Germany could be on the cards for us.
