Demarco Murray with the Candlestick in the Library Wouldn't it be Marshall with the Candlestick after last night?
With Candlestick or at Candlestick? Wait, it's not even at Candlestick anymore. More confusing!

Passed as hell they probably reactivated him because of the loss yesterday. They need to get rid of him one way or another. If it happened in Minnesota he'd have child services up his ass and lost all custody already.

But he also admitted to beating the kid with a stick. Whether or not he is found guilty (texas law says that 'parents are entitled to discipline their children as they see fit, except when that discipline exceeds what the community would say is reasonable.') that's totally fucked and the league should step in. They have precent with big ben in suspending for a non-charged crime. I dunno. It's a weird line because due process is important, esp with all these people calling for automatically suspending people accused of dv and that's wrong. Yeah. I expected Vikings' owners to do it but I guess not. I'm in a weird spot with this one like Hawk. I agree with you that I thought they'd keep him under a "totally not suspended but really it's a suspension" deactivation because what changed now from Friday? It feels a bit presumptuous to me for the NFL to judge Peterson without letting the system which exists to do just that work its way through things, no matter how frustratingly slow it might seem. If the NFL does suspend him before that (which we're kind of waiting on with McDonald and Hardy, by the way) it would seem both inconsistent and reactionary. What's the worst case, he plays and then is found guilty and they suspend him then? I don't see what's wrong with letting the legal system do its work and dealing with the repercussions of its decision from a league standpoint later. Yeah I am of two minds. One being that him saying yes I cracked my son across the nuts with a fucking stick, whoops, is pretty much the same as, say, big ben admitting that he forced a drunk girl into the bathroom. Basically, you don't need the court process when the person is admitting to guilt even if they don't think it was wrong.
On the other, given the kangaroo court the league is running these days, consistency should be most important.

I just want to take a moment to extend a special fuck you to Michael Crabtree.
Michael, first you did jackshit in week 1, contributing to the sinking of my fantasy team. Then, in week 2, you dropped the game-tying pass (in addition to giving up an interception), thereby probably costing me week 2 in fantasy and reminding me how much life sucks when my football team loses. Fuck you, Michael.
That is all.
EDIT: And PS, good luck getting that monster contract you're looking for.

He got you 14 points. That's pretty damn good.
Oh and you're still in this. It's not over yet!

Oh and you're still in this. It's not over yet! For me to win, the Eagles kicker either has to break his leg on the kickoff or the Colts have to shut out the Eagles. I think the former is "more likely."

Listened to the start of MNF on the radio today; I don't know when Kurt Warner started doing the cast(haven't had to radio MNF in quite some time) but he was actually really really good as the color commentary/analyst.

if only there was a video, he'd be banned for life like ray rice.

Disgusted by the offense for the second week in a row. The offense has been pretty great UNTIL they get to the red zone. Can't finish a drive for their fucking lives, and the play calling isn't helping.
That and the undisciplined defense is painful to watch. Hopefully they can turn it around at half again.
And again Chip burns off FORTY seconds off the clock by not calling a timeout on first and GOAL. I just don't understand this.
