I think we're mixing mad promise with having a dominant running game seeing as majority of his wins came when he threw for less than 250 yards and Alfred Morris ran for 95+ yards.

Benjamin had some Benjamin-ish type drops, but most of it was Cam. Yeah the line was bad and they're still missing a running game, but part of the line problems are attributable to Cam's bad reads and dumb movement decisions in the pocket. The only receiver capable of catching his throws would be Kelvin Benjamin getting a piggyback ride from Calvin Johnson.
It's pretty astounding that Cam hasn't figured out a) you can't throw every pass 12 feet high and b) if you're going to throw a pass 12 feet high, it should probably have some touch on it rather than being a bullet aimed at the 5th row behind the end zone.

I think if you give RG3 ample protection and a good ocoord, and you don't risk his health for stupid reasons, you can get a very productive qb out of him. I think his first year, his running skilsl pre injury masked just how mediocre his line was. Kind of like how Vick's one big year with the Eagles made everyone forget that his line couldn't block for shit for the past few years. Both were mobile, they made plays others couldn't. RG3 gets hurt and plays at 75% and hes scared of getting hurt again, and all the sudden he looks like shit.

Panthers fans just need to wait 3 years and get a few more pieces while Brees will be old and they'll be set. I would take Kuechly on my team over any other defensive player except JJ Watt, Newton just needs to be developed and mature which is still happening, with three good drafts this franchise could be set for a long time. Also pray Hardy is innocent and he comes back next year.

I voted Cam because of his size and I really think he is maturing and getting better as he grows in the NFL.

Eh, I'd probably have to go with Cam over RG3 simply due to the injury concerns. That said, I'm not really enamored with Cam. To an extent, he has been hamstrung by not having a lot to work with talent-wise on offense. Still, he makes a lot of dumb plays and seems to be behind the 8-ball now when it comes to mental aspects of the game.
