I'd start Bernard, Forte, and Sproles.
EDIT: Reports that Martin's not going to play tonight against the porous Falcons run defense. Start your Rainey's!
Bradshaw over Forte. There is no way Richardson keeps his starting role as long as Bradshaw is playing the way he is.

Last time Forte played the Jets: 19-113-1TD / 4-56-0TD
That was in 2010, when the Jets had a top 5 D that dragged Sanchez to the Conference Finals.
Don't overthink things. Never sit your studs, unless it's like mid season and they're legitimately duds at that point.

Two bad games and a good defense isn't going to scare me to the point of disregarding years of excellence. It just doesn't make sense. I thought about it, and then yelled at myself for considering it.

prior to reading all of your comments, I was rolling w Forte, Bernard, and Bradshaw. I was considering Sproles over Forte due to the matchup. But now that I think of it, I suspect that the Bears will be playing with a lead and will probably stick to the run more so than they did with the 49er's... not to mention Forte is on the field of exactly 1000% of offensive snaps.
I am trying to trade away Forte (or a combination of RBs) for a solid TE or QB option right now T_T

Why are you all convinced Bradshaw over Sproles? Because the Colts are going to be up big?
|
the gap from #1-12 for rbs is huge. it is less so for tes, and very much less for qbs. shit, with qbs, you can get a good starter and back him up with an ok starter with some cupcake matches. you shouldnt trade forte or any rbs in that top 5 range unless you are getting a king's ransom, or you are totally bare elsewhere. he's extra valuable because he's a good pass catching rb, which means he's still in there if they go behind.
re: sproles and bradshaw, considering how fragile bradshaw is, if the colts can get away with resting him if they get up big, I bet they will. They should steamroll jax. sproles is going to be i nthe game plan whether they're up big or not. I think either is probably an ok play as a flex, but I also think that the colts will stubbornly try to turn value on richardson and just keep feeding him the ball.

Reggie Bush vs Green Bay or Ridley vs Oakland? PPR League I feel helps Bush a little although Lions offense was shit last week. I'm not sure what to think about NE's backfield. Also I'm trying to decide who to play between Sammy Watkins vs San Diego or Brandin Cooks vs Minnesota. Is Brandin Cooks going to get enough looks to make him worth it? Is EJ Manuel a good enough QB?
|
The first one is a toss up. They seem really determined to give Bell the ball, but GB is definitely pretty soft on D. Personally, I feel like Watkins is a genuine #1 in the making, while Cooks is no better than #3 at best in that offense.

Ok thanks. I was leaning towards Watkins cause I just feel like Cooks won't get enough production with what the Saints have to work with. Was just reluctant cause I'm not too high on Manuel. Watkins had a pretty nice week last week though.

Hah I'd play Bush and Cooks. NO gets the dome, and they're so much better there. I have serious concerns about Manuel, especially against SD who loves to control the ball. I have a feeling we're going to employ a similar strategy.
As for Bush vs. Ridley: GB sucks on defense and it's a Belichick backfield. Be it on your head if you play Ridley.

Maybe I'll just flip a coin for each then

There are only 2 feasible TE/QB combinations that I would give Forte for in my league: Graham/Brees or JuliusThomas/Luck. But given how thin 14 team leagues are, I doubt they would accept.
I am debating Sproles vs Bradshaw internally. They seem pretty similar to me.

Why is the Bucs D such a shit show? They should be better than this with Lovie Smith as the coach.

Atlanta just pounding the bucs D. I didn't realize Roddy White would be inactive TT

Just when it looked like the Bucs defense did something right

that was pretty awesome haha
with how gimpy white has been the past couple years, I watch him right up until he plays.
Jackson's been running like he's 5 years younger than he is. That dude was a stud when he was in his peak. it's interesting to think what kind of stats he and Gore would have if they were on good teams during their peak.
