Hope he gets on the podium on Germany so even his fellow countrymen can boo him out. I agree with Aristo that I liked seeing more actual "racing" than most of the year so far. Only thing I don't like is the InfinitiRedBull dominance. Edit: Yes it was a cracking job from Veetle, but still.

Had the potential to be a great race, but it just wasn't 0.O Too me it felt like the only over taking was done on the first 3 laps where Bottas just disappeared down the track lol Oh well, onwards we go!

€dit: no decistion today, according to FIA's twitter (can't find the tweet right now, saw it in a german live ticker) the major points: Mercedes blames everything on Pirelli, saying that it was their test and Merc was basically "rented" by Pirelli to get information about the tyre delamination. They also question Ferraris test with a 2010 car. Pirelli insits that they have an agreement with the FIA to test tyres when needed. They first wanted Mercs 2010 car, but it wasn't avaiable. The FIA attorney lays the blame mostly at Mercedes, stating every test give them an advantage. Merc insists that since they don't know which type of tyre they used, the gathered information is useless. Currently it seems that Charlie Whiting could take all the blame, since he allowed the test requested by Merc.

I find it a bit surprising that nobody is talking about Ferrari as this trial revealed another private Pirelli test was run by them in 2012 as well as the one this year. That is twice in two years they have tested the current seasons tyres in a 14-15 month old car. Mercedes were only testing next years possible compounds (Pirelli may not even be the supplier) in a current car.

3 days or not. When you run a F1 car for 1000 km, you do learn about it with every lap - not only about how it treats the tires you know. That is where those test differ most imo - Ferrari was learning new things too, but about the car they will never run again on GP, unlike Mercedes.
