do we have nude photos of the MLSE.com web site designers just 2 clicks away.. just sad.
The issue is with the poorly designed website, not the fact that if you go to the web designer's site and decide to look through her pictures there's a small amount of nudity. Better not go to the Louvre either; there's nudity all over the place there.
guaranteed you won't be 2 clicks away from NHL.com's web site designers nude pics. ever. what a joke... you see the topic is hockey not 18th century art.
Again, who cares? It's artistic nudity. On a different website. That you need to look through in order to find. How is this an issue AT ALL?
i'll just borrow someone else's thoughts onthe Jamison Entertainment Group web site....
i was more curious about the investment prospectus. what are his sales growth projections? ticket price adjustments over time? suite sales? non-hockey events? yeah yeah, i know it's all ripe for a good (and arguably, well-deserved) mocking, but surely the man has had to have put together some sort of actual, real, big-league set of facts and figures to show to his potential investors.
or, do you think he just emailed random people with a link to this website and asked "How much can I put you down for?"
rofl-copter.
Brian Burke Press Conference
you gotta wonder if MLSE will ever let Brian Burke back into the Air Canada Centre again after that press conference. He basically said he and Nonis can circumvent the corporate structure because he has been friends with Nonis for so long. Bell's corporate philosophy is so radically different from Burke's "off the cuff" combative style.. i gotta wonder if Burke will be allowed to be associated with the Bell brand in even the most remote of ways.
There is now no doubt in my mind that Bell wanted Burke gone.
next year's "amnesty buy out" is not permitted for an injured player. to avoid the risk of Gomez getting hurt this year the Canadiens are going to pay him to sit at home and do nothing.

welcome to the convoluted world of pro sports legalities what a laugh.
Were they going to miss his 8 goals? I think Gomez should be thanking Jesus and his agent and the idiots in New York for giving him 8 million for nothing.

Watch out for Oilers this season guys, they are gonna come out of nowhere and destroy I think.
No goalie, no D. So I dont think so. But at least the Canucks arent going to autowin the Northwest this year. M
oh they still will dont you worry ur cute little ass
It will definitely be a riot, I'll make sure not to choke when it happens and hold back my tears.
And minnesota has a good shot, as well. They did amazingly the beginning of last year until injuries ripped them apart. Then, they added the huge duo in the offseason... They could be a great team.

Go Flyers!!
NHL has a decent thing online where you can watch almost every game. I bought it two years ago and I twas something like 100 140 bucks? Maybe they'll 'apologize' to fans by making it 30 bucks or something.

Apparently it's 50 bucks for the remainder of the season. I'm looking at getting it but the blackout that makes you get a proxy is annoying as hell it seems, especially in Canada. Also lol@Gillis stocking up on bargain-basement D-men, I'd hope ours don't *all* get injured again.

That D is still pretty weak outside of Suter. And honestly, I think that offense isn't gonna be as good as people think. I like Koivu and Parise. Outside of that though, they're a mix of slightly above average guys and some overrated players (Heater is on a big decline and Setoguci hasn't looked anything like that dude who killed it riding shotgun with Thornton a few years back).
Also, I don't think doing well for part of the season says a ton. Reminder: The Leafs, of all fucking teams, looked halfway decent for a bit there, until they remembered that they are Leafs, have little depth up front, a horrid defense and no goaltending (Reimer could pan out though). Minny is definitely way better than them and I'd buy in on a team with goaltending, but I don't know if either are really playoff teams. Minny was out by 14 pts and the only teams in the West that I think got noticiably worse are Nashville, Detroit and Phoenix.
That being said, what is interesting about the shortented season is that it provides no mercy for fuck ups. And shitty teams like the Leafs who go hot for a month, month and a half might suddenly make it to the playoffs before reverting to form.
I think the Oil still have a subpar D and G situation, even after getting Fistric, but that offense is awesome.
