Still waiting on any feedback from the vids I posted. I'm currently working on my jerk form since It's way behind my clean.
Its a bit hard to tell from a front view. Could you post a side view?
Here's a good help video for the clean.
Yeah that's one of the series I've been using to get the lift right.
I've been doing clean high pulls and jump squats to try to learn my body a bit better and figure out the difference between Jumping/Extending only at the hip.

2 attempts at CJ 135, was nervous as this was the first time recording myself + Show Spoiler +
Another attempt at 135, by just looking at my video I see I gotta work on my split jerk because it has been a hit or miss thing for me since I started doing it 4 weeks ago. + Show Spoiler +
My third video is at 155 which is the first time I attempted that weight. My clean was OK, the front squat was getting hard, and I was worried about my wrists on the jerk... so I ended up splitting short and completing with a push jerk of sorts. I still consider it a PR! + Show Spoiler +
So, that's me at 155lbs and two months of learning these lifts! I feel like the clean portion was actually pretty easy, but I'm approaching a limit on my FS.
vid 1 - wtf, are you sure those shoes are good for you lifting like that? you look like you're about to twist an ankle on both attempts....... everyone here uses proper weighlifting shoes, which have extremely stable and flat support bases.
vid 2 - that was much better, you seem pretty good mobility so shouldnt have too much problem figuring it out. i do recommend you start at 50-55kg and work up to 60kg tho if you have bumper plates. in clean, a 5kg difference in weight is a lot. its way better to be -5kg with good form than +5kg not doing it properly. its not like bench press where you can just power thru it and do less reps if you're too tired.
vid 3 - looks good, you "frog legs" your legs when you land, see how they spread so much wider than your starting stance? idk if this is bad or not, watch some other videos to see if people have uniform stance.

I'm a bit bowlegged so my ankles normally are twisted like that. When I walk in snow it's obvious that my feet are between 30-45 degrees pointed out. I used to get laughed at a lot as a kid
EDIT: I did some reading and I think this should be my #1 priority: Untraining myself to land in that position. It might be more stable in terms of balance but I'm thinking it isn't in terms of weight. I don't squat/FS/DL like that.
As for the shoes... they are pretty terrible in terms of support. They do force me to stretch even more, which is why I use them (for now). They are much better for deadlifting or plyometric work, but they force me to squat extra deep, which I like.

I play DIII football in PA. I came into camp last August at 191 (insanely low for D End). I've been eating and lifting a lot and i'm close to 210. Probably closer to 208. Hoping to get to between 215-220 by next season.
Was a scout team bench warmer as a freshman, but that was to be expected at my size and strength. I was one of five freshman DE's-- couple that with a rising junior starting at the other end (6'4 250), playing time will be hard to come by.

Thanks for the feedback.
That is definitely a priority, you are high risk for ACL tears etc.
Didn't do all that many lifts for the past weeks so I'm building my volume back up. Also added a bit of extra pulls since I lost a bit of pull strength during smolov. Felt really good.
Had Chili's for lunch right before lifting lol. Why in the world did I think a "bacon ranch quesadilla" would be remotely good for me? Felt pretty awful lifting, but I got some good reps in on Squat. Hopefully can reach 4 plates in 3ish weeks?
Edit: Also, anyone want to have a competition for 1xBW squats for reps or something like that?

Wait are you allowed to go out for lunch in your school? If so you are one lucky mofo
I eat literally the same food every single day because my school runs out of food during lunch T_T

I'll challenge you to pushups, pull ups, and squats if you want, although I may have to use a slightly wider stance that you do
Not usually. Had a math competition during the school day so I didn't have to go to classes, and got to go to lunch wherever. And I will definitely take you up on all of those. I will PM you when I get some free time from homework to set it up

Lol yeah, that guy approached me after haha.
I'm writing a program for my training partner and I to follow. We're planning on doing three weeks of high volume, two weeks of hangs, one week of blocks (using this as a lighter week to recover for the next phase), then four weeks of lifts from the floor. I'm adding a lot of accessory work all throughout, specially during the first 5 weeks. First time following my own programming, I hope to see some good results!
Today: Pw sn + h. pw sn 135x2 145x2 155x3 Jerk 185x3 205x3 215x3 225x3 235x3 245x2 185x5 + Show Spoiler +
Sn pull + low h sn pull + low hang 165 175 185 195 200 205 210x 210x Cl pull + h cl pull + hang clean 225 235 245 250 255 260x 260x FS 275 285 300 310 (PR) 320x Press 95x10x3 Row 115x10x3
Nice PR front squat after 4 weeks of not doing any lol. Idk why when I do high hang cleans I can't keep it close on the way back up, I keep kind of banging it (less than I used to). I'll get it fixed.
bit dodgy hyperextension going on so thats something to remember next time
60kg OHP
shouldn't have pushed out that last rep, it gimped me afterwards lol
also featured is more loser deadlift , which i thought would look OK but in actual fact looks completely and utterly fail. i just can't fucking bend any more than what you see here. i really don't get it.
