Yeah usually rogue or cheap pendlay bars. They're not awful and I can still max out on them, it just doesn't feel as clean/good due to the lack of spin and whip
how reasonable is it to eat off wood instead of your tummy?

in norway we go with 120kg per hand aka NSM

Getting atlas stones, apollons axle, power stairs, big dumbell and farmers just have to make it first

this but i can only do it with 1 leg really so i just focus on that and the other leg is prostrated

Clean: Work up to 75kg (PR), couldn't jerk cause my shoulder hurts exclusively on jerks for some reason. They also hurt on cleans, so couldn't really hammer it, just wanted the PR. Form is a lot better I think, at least in terms of bar path.
Klokov Press: 40kgx5x10
Botoom Position Zercher Squat: 120kgx1x10

1.- Zerchers are fun as hell.
2.- When I clean the barbell and adjust grip, my hands end up wider than what feels optimum when push pressing from rack. What should I do?

Are you making progress getting the other leg under you for the 3rd world squat? Something's way off if you're not close and you should be trying to fix that.

Your arms should be wherever you have a secure but relaxed grip. If you're too tense with your grip and upper body you won't get good leg drive and Press too much.

- press 3x5: 30 => 40 This is still stuck at 30. This is just never going up.
- bench press 3x5: 40 => 55 Yay made it.
- deadlift 1x5: 80 => 120 I got to 110. Failed 115 a couple of times. This should be higher than my squat!!
- power clean 3x5: ?? => 65 No power cleans for me for a while. Sprained my wrist by falling over during a clean. PR is currently 40

press isnt too hard to get up, try doing 5x5 or higher rep sets. just make sure you feel like you've really worked it.
also, i have like 4+ minute rests, which helps.
of course, if u skip workouts then dont expect it to go up.
also, add chinups asap imo

My end of year PRs

Squat: 190
Deadlift: 205 (time to buy new plates)
Bench Press: 117,5
Press: 77,5

I'm no longer fat and alot stronger. So I'm pretty happy what about I've achieved in about 5 months of lifting, after a long period of complete inactivity. Bodyweight is about 110kg 14-15% bodyfat (from 118kg 25+%).

My goal for 2013 is to get stronger, bigger and possibly leaner. And to compete in a powerligting meet at the end of the year. Don't really have more specific goals, I just want to work on a better body with near perfect discipline, just like I've doing.

Haha, that is such a rare thing as a hilarious graph :p

Much as it's gonna suck to have to wait in line for the squat rack, I can't hate on people who try to make a change. I used to be in the fuckarounditis camp myself before I discovered barbell training, something I actually enjoy for it's own sake rather than just a means to getting "fit".

On another note, I actually got asked for the first time ever to spot someone on bench the other day. Not a big deal, but it was a new experience. I probably shouldn't have agreed in the first place as I would have hurt my arms if he turned out to need help, but I've been chugging Ibuprofen and fish oil lately and I think I'm healing. Either that or the pills cover up the pain hehe.

you can get proper prescribed anti-inflamitory tablets from a doc.
and for short-term pain relief you can get codeine phosphate tablets from a doc , which wont burn your insides like guzzling ibuprofen daily will..
people die from chugging ibuprofen or acetaminophen , its like drinking bleach (afaik)
know which pharmacutacles are safe and which arent...some are but some can be deadly even in small doses (eg nytol)

I think it can mess up your liver if you take too much too often. We had a girl in the news here, about a year back, that was hospitalized in critical condition because of it.

Went in the morning to lift and hit 275 snatch and 335 clean and jerk. The workout of the day was fs to max so I stayed and hit 385 (175kg) to tie my PR. Found a real gym that's about 40 minutes away so I'm gonna drop in there, looks pretty decent. (www.novastrong.com)
