One tiny thing, there should be an apostrophe in 'this year's final' sorry to be a grammar nazi , otherwise, fucking awesome and got me pumped for next season! This is indeed interesting, anyone know the reason why? Thanks for spotting it! I do most my work at work suprisingly lool, and it doesnt auto correct spelling so meh, thanks! Also on the wembley issue, i beleive it was going to be in a stadium that wasn't ready or wasn't up to UEFA standards so last year sometime they announced it would be at Wembley again due to them hosting a good final in 2010.

But still, I'm glad Di Matteo is staying (not that there was really a choice in the matter, all hell would've broken loose if he'd gone after he won the Champion's League )

Yeah, they only signed the best player of the last Bundesliga season >.> There was a time, when Dortmund tried to force success with huge transfers. The consequence was the near death of the club. They just played the best season of any Bundesliga team in history and the only key player that will leave Dortmund is Kagawa, who is compensated by Reus. Rather than signing other big names the BVB concentrated in binding their biggest talent (Götze) and the most important player (Hummels) for a long time (2016 and 2017). The dissappointing results in the CL last year weren´t a result of lack of skill, but the inexperience of the team. Lets see, if they learned from their mistakes back then.

Its risky if your Di Matteo it might go quite horribly wrong. I dont think Hazard by himself is going to fix the problems they have albeit being a step in the right direction.

Still waiting for Dortmund to add some depths to their roster to actually compete on an international level this year. Up to now, they've only added talent (Bittencourt) and refilled the holes left by departing players (Kagawa->Reus, Da Silva->Kirch, Barrios->Schieber). Both last season and the season before, Dortmund has looked very shaky in european competitions while dominating the Bundesliga. EURO experiences may help to stabilize their defense, but to be a contender in both our domestic league and the Champions League, quality on the bench doesn't look to be high enough yet. Injuries, pressure and the added strain of having to play three tournaments at once may lead to yet another disappointing performance on the european scene. Edit: Great OP, Pandemona. I like! Finally got rid of that pesky "soccer" in title, too. Edit2: Also, Werder Bremen just confirmed the signing of Theodor Gebre-Selassie, one of the discoveries of the EURO. Rumored transfer fee is between 1,5 to 2 million € - pretty cheap.
