IMO just start stretching, 5min/day between 3 way splits+ whatever other stretches you wanna do will get you pretty flexible pretty fast, some people in my martial arts class did that 3 times/day and had ridiculous flexibility gains

Note that this have never happened before... http://www.eatmoveimprove.com/2010/03/cracking-and-popping-and-clicking-oh-my/ might be of interest to you. My knees crackle all the time. My left does more so and that's post ACL reconstruction. Basically, I'm not sure if it's an issue if it's just crackling or that calcium will be beneficial even if there is an issue.

I only have a chin up bar, one 40lb one 20lb and two 15lb dumbells to work out with, i was just wondering the quickest routines i could do to help gain some muscle and lose some weight Read the TL H&F Initiative sticky and the Nutrition sticky, start cleaning up your diet and IMO start a bodyweight based strength training routine since your equipment seems to be a bit lacking. You can learn more about constructing a bodyweight based routine here: http://www.eatmoveimprove.com/2010/3/the-fundamentals-of-bodyweight-strength-training/ If you have any other questions I'm certain you'll get a quick response here ![]()

I have the flexibility of an erect penis and I figure it's something I may as well try and improve alongside everything else.

how do you guys managed eating and working out time wise, like do you eat a specific amount of time before or after you work out, or do you just wing it, and go with what ever feels good? also what is the most effective method of cardio? or does it really not matter as long as you get your heart rate up? ty

If I'm packing fat on my stomach, I would advice you to do workout before eating. But if I'm doing well and I like what I'm seeing in the mirror, I would do it after. Because if you don't have fatty reserve in your system, the workout will burn through the muscles and that's definitely not good. Oh yeah on that timing, it really depends on you. Some people can IMMEDIATELY work at high efficiency after eating a meal or so. Others will simply puke out. It varies on how strong is your digestive system. You wouldn't want an accident to happen, the guys and gals @ gym will be wtf'ing all over the place lol

I've been doing triceps kickbacks in my tricepsroutine for almost a year now and I just recently found out that the long head of the triceps is relaxed when you have the arm straight down your torso, like it is in this exercise. This movement still hit the other two heads good so I'm gonna keep it as a finisher after the other tricepsmovements. Your back is supported by bracing yourself against a bench on this one so I never felt the need to arch my back.

Don't eat things you are potentially allergic to... milk comes to mind for some people. For illnesses, vitamin D works if you're deficient. Same with Zinc. What do you guys think about water-soluble vitamin tablets, like those that contain C vitamins and other basic vitamins, which you can buy in a grocery store, Is it healthy to drink these or not at all? It's better to get your vitamins from REAL FOODS like fruits, and vegetables, meat, fish, nuts, seeds Vitamins tend to be expensive urine.

Is this correct? If you have good form it should be fine unless you're arching too much.... What is it? :D As long as the bran and such as removed when you eat it sure. White rice over brown because of that is generally better. Potatoes and sweet potatoes are fine starches as well. Try to stay away from wheat products. On August 18 2012 00:09 Xiphos wrote: Oh man, my knees are so weak nowadays with added work loads. I am wondering if I should take some Calcium suppement to help with the bone structure because it appears that I may require them due to my lactose intolerance. Vegetables -- Collared greens for calcium bro... don't need milk. Make sure you get enough magnesium and vitamin D as well; you need all 3.
