Sacred Stones is a bit weirdly balanced though, it was seemingly designed around the assumption that you would use the repeatable levels a fair bit, so you're forced to or the game seems stupid hard. | ||

I'm still stuck at the battle including a NPC-Selye in the neutral route of Tactics Ogre, had I known I'd rather have restarted battles thrice rather than get most people to level 22, she may only be 2 levels lower but every single level has such a huge impact in Tactics Ogre that having the enemies scale with my party's in this battle makes her so hard to save. Dammit. In Blazing Sword the important characters are merely wounded and not killed if you lose them in battle (I'm talking about those reappearing in Sword of Seals or yet having to sire children, with the exception of Rebecca who for some reason dies if dropped to 0 HP), and they keep appearing in later cutscenes (Legault actually appears even if you don't recruit him, another overseeing I guess). I think this is the same in Awakening - Lissa died in the first battle, but she's still around for all the story cut scenes, and in the character info it says she's just retired, not dead (unlike Vaike, who is dead) So the day Cheep/Roffles stops smurfing and decides to only use his main account?
