Kyrie, you're far more generous than you should be
edit:
there's a post on r/Smite saying they wish Smite would do more to break the MOBA genre with more different game modes and creativity stuff (something Smite has already done quite well, imo)
there was a response saying "I wish Smite would get more popular than LoL. I get what LoL has done for the genre, but there's only one map, so boring"

Proud to have spotted it prior to annoucement! XD Checked the sidebar, and then my subscribed and it was all gone. It was spooky.

Make a gaming website. Make another "sister" website for another game you already supported. Wut.
|
I don't get it either, but its red and red ones go fast so I like it.

kinda a slap in the face to Dota 2 - apparently not important enough to get its own site lolololol

Not really. They are giving Hearthstone it's own site because they don't consider it a proper eSport. The fact they keep Dota 2 on the main website means they see it at the same level as Starcraft.
|
Yup, if you look at the way they word it, Hearthstone has its own site because its current state is "not comparable" to the other games being covered here, in a way, and a bit after they talk about BW/SC2/DotA 2 as "established e-sports".
|
I feel like its a slap to hearthstone. Like yeah we want to cover you but you cant be on our main site, not hardcore enough. The games covered are largely dictated by admin and moderator interest. Such as "choosing" dota2 over LoL its like enough higher ups liked hearthstone to dedicate resources to it but its not as hardcore esports as starcraft and dota and they didnt want to make their site description longer.
double shen'd

huh, fair enough - I didn't actually read things

This is definitely a sentiment the Reds had. LiquidHearth was made to be able to stand up against HearthPwn and other HearthStone fan sites.
A subforum alone wouldn't get many diehard HS fans compared to those other HS sites.

It sucks though because now I would need to have 2 pages open to keep track of things going on. Before I would just have this thread open and then look at the sidebar to see if any threads I follow get bumped to the top or if there are new/interesting threads. Oh well.
edit: It should be an option!

lol real.

Things like triangle reversers, armor piercers, and crit sticks I keep around and use sparingly if I get into an "I need just a little more power" situations.
