I'm assuming that's the real reason guitar ducked the convo. Or he was busy because he's still an LCS team manager and planning for summer split requires some work(bold assumption). I think his point about the D-League was decent(obviously there's some numbers differences, but he was certainly aware of that), but instead it's an argument about how easy "student athletes"(in quotes because that's actually what was discussed, the mythical student athlete, not the actual student athletes) have life in college. I don't think any parallels to League were even brought up after the college picture was linked, which was like 2 whole posts after guitar's. | ||

Second: Playing very safe is a way to do it, but it's by no means the fun way. Look up youtube videos of people playing "the safe way" and you won't find very many, because the combat just simply isn't rewarding in this game to take the easy way out. I'm no difficulty whore, to be sure, but even I recognize that of course the easiest, safest way is the most boring way. Also, how far did you get before quitting? | ||

Dark Souls combines the fun of having a game that's actually hard, with the continuous appeal of an RPG. You could play safe or you could yolo, and its not very punishing to yolo it – compare this to roguelikes where you can get bufu'd the same way by the game, but then you die. I personally prefer roguelikes because each run is sufficiently short and new that I don't find it to be grindy, but different people prefer the continuous reward banking that you can get from grinding. At least it isn't a AAA title where you might as well just afk and watch a movie of the cutscenes because there isn't any "game" behind it at all. | ||
