What is effective is talking about it with someone, because when you talk about it you repeat the stressful situation and when your body is used to it, it's not as stressed. Or maybe I made that up, I dunno

I kind of understand the basics, but when using it, I really just throw things together and play around until I get the numbers I expect. I have to teach our customers' report writers this concept alongside a very complex new universe. Even our most seasoned business analyst was like "lol good luck". It's basically gonna end up being "this is a very cursory overview, you will have questions, play around with it and then ask". I just don't like half-baked stuff, and I can't find a way to get around that.

Well to be fair, 2-3 Knights is enough points to count as a full army in medium point games, so it actually comes out to about the same price as building a full army of any other type. But so much on one model lol.

Well, while some of their business practices as of late have been questionable to bad, you can't say their loyalty isn't gained. They've been doing 40k for 25 years, and Fantasy for about 5 years before that. Their models have come out on a consistent basis, and have increased in quality over time. The rules are regularly updated (whether balanced or not is another matter), the lore is plentiful and loved, and Dark Heresy is even getting a new edition soon. Are the prices pretty high for what it is? Sure, but honestly they've been putting out quality products for as long as I can remember, and plenty of people are willing to put up with a bit of a higher price for a setting and story that they've had since they were kids. That's how I justify it, at least >.>

However you want to justify it buddy. Product is generally good but pricing has always been bothersome and lately they've been lapsing on protecting the license proper(See:Storm of Vengeance) and that always worries me. Ask any star wars fan or trekker what happens when the ip holders end up greenlighting whatever comes across the desk. It ain't pretty.

For local tournys and whatnot, people don't really care. So Req, are you looking to actually play some Warhammer or you more of a collector? Edit: Totally forgot I was your number one fanboi, good times. #REQFORPRES
