All the legacy shit I have on DH simply can't be replaced because of how good the legacy gear is. Sure I got a few item replacements so far, but they were all my rare gear for other rares or new legendaries. I understand that people would get mad over it. Since real money was spent on some of their gear. But, it feels so unrewarding to keep picking up legendaries and going 'nope, dis blows'. Obviously when RoS comes out, all gear, legacy and current will be obsolete.
As for the "Legacy Gear and current being obsolete."
Mostly.
If you have Trifecta gear (+Crit Chance, +Crit Damage, +Attack Speed) gear pieces, you are VERY UNLIKELY to ever trade those out, except for in situations where you are going to gain a CRAP LOAD of toughness. Even in those cases I would be very timid in replacing them simply due to the ability to make up the toughness in other slots. The reason for this is that in loot 2.0 you can NEVER roll trifecta on ANY legendaries. Period. End of story. All of the "4 other stats" options will always be secondary stats (Not Dex/Int/Str, Not Crit, not attack speed, not crit damage) UNLESS that item ALREADY doesn't have one of those roles locked in (See Sage's Gloves, Locked in Crit, can roll Attack Speed OR Crit damage but never both).
This means that items WITH trifecta are going to innately just be superior to their counter parts. I mean my DH has a Trifecta Neck from level 20 and is rocking it at level 60 simply because of how much raw damage that thing provides.
Now this has its upsides in the fact that the primary stat you are rolling will have a metric CRAP load of it. See the current pieces that have 500+ of a stat, or Capped or near Capped Aspeed/Crit/CDamage.
As for Weapons, Even if you have a perfect rolled skorn (socket + 200% crit damage ectectect), you'll replace it at about level 64-66. The sheer weapon damage you'll be getting from those items is going to be so outstanding that you'll replace it asap. The weapons that might stick around are ones that are "Spec" defining (WizardSpike and Kridershot Mostly.)
Things like that make me sad that I won't Upgrade some slots, but it comes with territory. If they just added a ladder system already we wouldn't really have this issue though because all the legacy geared characters and stash will get pushed out and everything will be all hunky dorry.
/tangent done
New Guy Coworker doesn't know when to not ramble. He woke up the tech at 2 in the morning and JUST hung up the phone for an issue that could have been resolved he had paid attention to how I fixed it last night . I'd ream him on it, but it's not my job.

The main the reason I say this is so if they get rid of legacy great they can buff current gear. Cuz I'm pretty sure all the guys doing t6 solo are running tons of legacy gear.

o.O I had a friend roll trifecta gloves just tonight on some crafted sage(?) I think it was. Do those not count as legendaries?

Are you sure it was all 3? I'd believe 2 of 3 because that what anything with locked in Crit/CritDamage/Attack speed is likely going to get simply because of how the Primary vs Secondary stats work.

I'll grab a link to it when I get a chance tomorrow. He was ranting about it pretty loudly but it was late so maybe he or I made a mistake. Most likely him because you know I am flawless yo. I'am fairly certain he said he got such however.
Forgot they made an armory, http://us.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Toggo-1317/hero/4000174 His gloves. Those are indeed crit/crithit/ and attackspeed.

Interesting....
Kinda shitty with no Dex/Str/Vit/Int ect, but universally good because trifecta. They poke a hole in my theory which is good because I want to be wrong. Perhaps that would mean that you can use the oracle to reroll into trifecta pieces?
ONLY TIME WILL TELL.

Wish they'd let us trade gear of that type again. He has the sage's set and I the demons. We could effectively gear each other out with it but alas blizzard strikes down hope.

Thanks everyone! She is adorable! Yes, wei, she grabs everything and that includes the dog's fur. However, to shed some light on this mystery and possibly take some of the magic out of it, they are both riveted by a spoon of peanut butter.

There's been a resurgence of smash interest in my RL friend group too. The friend who originally got me into competitive smash has started playing melee again (he's the one I'm playing double with in Boston on saturday). He used to be quite good, Gizbro knows him as shminkledorf.

I just wanna get home to get my Wizard to 60 before RoS hits because I want to use my "Least HC Build Ever" Wiz in its full glory. Then I want RoS so it gets even better.
This is the build, btw. Suggestions for making it more hilarious welcome.
