I'd assume it has something to do with the majority of gamers "First Experience" is on a console rather than PC, and with RTS's being pretty much 100% PC, you'll have a wider variety of people who play a console game like this. | ||

Most minorities (minus jews/asians) generally have less income than their white people counterpart. gamecube/wii pretty cheap in comparison, and only need 1 in between groups of people, so it's really cost efficient. | ||

But honestly, it could just be due to a sort of local community aspect. While online play is taking up a lot of people's time, there are still people who go out to play video games.
